The frog kick is one of the most efficient kicks in diving. It produces more thrust with less energy thereby consuming less air. It is not an easy kick to learn but practice, practice, practice and you will get it. Thanks for great video! I use both types of the kicks displayed whether I'm in single tank, doubles or sidemount. They both work great!

The kick is cool, I'll have to learn it. I'm most impressed by the buoyancy though. It looks like he's on the bottom. Excellent technique!!!

Thanks for posting this. The frog kick is not as easy as it seems, I have yet to master after 20+ dives.

I've heard several talk about the reverse kick. I never managed to get any speed with it, and never managed to see anyone doing it with moving more than few centimeters per stroke. The diver here doesn't beat the others. I'm still after convincing evidence that this kick can work.

Michele M the point is not speed, it's about positiong. It's like driving a car in reverse, you do it to position the car not drive at speed. So of course the kick works. I use it all the time.

Think about the other divers behind you. As you're kicking up silt from behind, it ruins the visibility for others behind you.

+Advlyfe Yes, this is the BHB Marine Park....the muck bottom is a good place to practice non-silting technique for cave diving....or for photography

Gotcha - I'm an Ft Laud Native - didn't know we had a GUE presence here. Nicely done on the video.
