When I was a teen, and wanted to start wearing some makeup, my mom taught me what she knew. She said that browns and lilacs look nice on us (we are both fair with blue eyes). And it worked! Everything i bought was in the broad family of either brown or purple and then orange! At some point, i swatched some sparkly (for the time) estee lauder shadows and discovered the baked gelee formula... Soon after, they came out with a limited edition palette called violet underground, which got sold out everywhere in the country. I had once mentioned it to a friend, and when my birthday came, she got it for me. She had tracked it down in a warehouse in another city and pulled some strings to get it to me. Needless to say, i still have it, it still performs, and the only shades i can compare it with are the blitz shades by PGL. Long live the baked gelee formula!!! 🖤🖤🖤

How sweet!!! My mom always told me, "we don't put on sandals, if we haven't painted our toesies"...every summer, I hear her instructions and I never put on open shoes unless my toesies are presentable 😊. Moms are the best! And apparently, you have amazing friends.

Now that I’m older and my eyelids are more textured, I appreciate and prefer using these types of shadows over the more sparkly shadows I’ve worn in the past. I’ve been purchasing Dior, Chanel and Tom Ford a lot more lately. Definitely need to try this brand.

So, this is my 8th attempt to leave this comment. I was trying to post it on your previous video, but for some reason youtube kept deleting it. Maybe this will work! I wanted to say that I love the Essence pencil in hot chocolate as well! I remember one day I couldn't find mine at home, so I told my younger sister to get me one from Kruidvat. However, despite her going to 2 different Kruidvat, she wasn't able to find one. I was bummed! Until I looked online and there was plentyyy of stock there! I now have 2 backups lol. You should take a look there as well x I really love it for an everyday soft liner look - instead of using a black eyeliner, I use this pencil. I like having a drugstore liner/ eyepencil for my everyday makeup, because you go through it quickly. Having a high end liner as daily makeup would just be a tad bit too expensive for my liking lol

Ok…now I have Mariam caused fomo….I am definitely getting the Chanel quads…but decided to get the one with the blue shade because I love my blues…and I do have the Tom Ford so I will have to see where the story is too similar…and these are not limited edition so Sephora sale might do the trick for me

Hmmm I don’t know, I don’t have it. The formula is for sure superior though. Cognac Sable is not even in the wet and dry formula. The Guerlain one is baked gelee and far more elegant than the “normal” textures in Sable.

It's from M Brush by Maxineczka. It's a Polish fude brand. I think #18.
