I wore the Guerlain L’Essential yesterday and I still LOVE it! I think I want to finish it up before buying another foundation. I just tried the new Laura Mercier - LOVE and purchased the Burberry, so I am good for awhile! It looks pretty on you even though it is a bit dark.

Hiii, I think you will need 1.5N. Terracota foundation is more dark than L'essentiel.🍀🍀🍀🌹🌹🌹

I have two Guerlain foundation sticks I purchased back in 2019. I remember getting the medium shade first, since it was summer and I was a bit bronzier. The medium was so dark! So I went and ordered the light shade and it was too light! Lol. So I kept the two and just make stripes on my face of each and blend it in. Guerlain’s foundation shades are something else. Lol

Wow, only 6 months shelf life for the luminating powder? Or is it after opening the product? Still very short imo. Even mascaras have 6 months of safe use recommended. Powders usually have at least 12 months so this is a bummer. On a different note, I had the now discontinued Illuminating pen and it was gorgeous. I hope this one makes up for it. Thank you for this review. I really appreciate it as the product is pretty new and nobody else reviewed it yet.

I think this foundation runs warm. I'm usually a neutral, but my best match was 1C. I'm not usually cool, but this one works best for me.

I really like the Parure Gold Matte but it’s a pain to have to order it from overseas. I would love to see a comparison of the two foundations and to hear your thoughts. The Luminizer is lovely 🥰

Yes, I will be comparing them soon. I can say that the Parure Gold Foundation and the new Terracotta Foundation feel very similar. But I will do a wear test soon.

The Shade 2N works great for me right now. It's what I have in the other 2 foundations. I have updated the link so hopefully that helps.

Beautiful!! Your skin looks lit from within. Personally, I much prefer this kind of luminized look. Highlighters are pretty, but can rapidly become way too obvious on the skin IMO.

This foundation oxidizes like crazy, one full shade at least. So make sure you get at least one shade lighter.
