Today I am reviewing the new 2024 Guerlain Terracotta Superbloom Sun-kissed powder. This powder REALLY blew me away. I wanted to also mention this powder is set in 03 Warm Bronzer from Guerlain and the "Insect" is a bee. 🤭
I'm so excited to share this with you, as I have been using it so much since I reviewed it. I also will be giving comparisons for the newest Blush/Bronzer combo's from Chanel and Dior! I hope you enjoy this review!✨

I still have my guerlain bronzer from way back in the day. I want to purchase a few new things from them to revisit the brand. This was such a pretty powder on you. It was much more pigmented than I expected. Definitely inspired to finally pick up a few things soon.

Hi Martha 💗 Oh, that is on my list! I will try this Guerlain and Chanel one for another week to have a more well rounded opinion🤭. In regards to Chanel/Dior..I think picking the Medium Coral Chanel will give you a similar color to any of the Dior powders. You also have the option to use the sections separately. I would say value per use, I would go with one Chanel Sunkissed powder for sure🤭😘

Thank you for your review Christina. Would you say the Guerlain is more blushy than bronzey? If you could only pick one which one would you pick? I’m between the Guerlain and Chanel. I’m also loving what Guerlain is launching and how they launch. Much more consumer friendly than Chanel and Dior. Also, are you wearing a lip pencil or the coordinating lip balm with the lip oil? Hello💗! Well, I would say the Guerlain is much more of a blush color. However it looks so fresh and natural on the skin. The Chanel Sunkissed powders are a mix BUT because the sections are so large you are able to actually have separate bronzer, blush, and highlight! I think it really will boil down to what you are on the market for. I really love them both, but if you want more of a multipurpose product then I would say go with the Chanel!💗 I hope this helps! Also, my lips are a combo of the Tom ford lip blush and the Guerlain rose pop lip oil 🌸

@@makeupboxfyi Thanks! I do like them both. I have the Guerlain terracotta light bronzer that came out a few years ago which is one of my faves. Also, I have two of the HG holiday palettes from last year. I do prefer all in ones or bronzer palettes versus standalone bronzers for the versatility. I may get both but that’s it for the year. I buy more makeup than I wear so I need to slow down my addiction. Thx.J.

Hi Angie! Yes, it only in this shade Medium Warm 3 for this years Terracotta bronzer from Guerlain. I think it’s a beautiful shade for most light to medium skin tones..darker may be pushing it a bit.

I feel like i end up presenting very similar swatches.. already ordered 3 of the Chanel palettes. Do you prefer the finish of Chanel or Dior? Only formula - is one more delicate/silkier than the other? Say, are they withholding light coral and deep mauve as website exclusives??

Hi Suseau! I think with the Medium Coral it could present very similar! Hmmm, that’s hard. I was using the Dior tons before my Chanel Les Beige came in. I think I like the finish of a Chanel better, it is more silky, I feel like the Dior can start to look cakey when you apply too much! Usually I can use my Lisa Eldridge Mist and it will remedy that issue, but I haven’t had the same issues with Chanel. In regards to the Chanel withholding certain colors, I’m not sure. The initial launch was quite strange so it’s possible the other stores haven’t received all the inventory yet.

@@makeupboxfyi btw the answer is yes - in Europa they only offer those shades as exclusives like they did with the hiver primers.. so basically everybody may shop with discounts, fairest and deepest get to pay full price only. I've really had it with their exclusives category and the attached horrible service/treatment.

@@makeupboxfyi Hi :) yes, Guerlain is really connected to nature and if you look closely at their artwork, campaigns, and shades, it’s so clear they draw a lot of inspiration from flowers. Granted, with Violette as artistic director now, they also draw inspiration from art, but their nature-base core is still very present. after watching your video I bought the Terracotta superbloom. Couldn’t resist. Apparently it’s not just an overspray, but actual blush parts. Could you confirm this?

@@thelidiaedit So, I’ve been using these quite a bit and noticed that the blush parts look to be apart of the bronzer🥰. The pretty sparkle over top of it is an overspray, as it disappears as soon as you first swatch it! 🤭 It’s still lovely nonetheless.

@thelidiaedit I know! It was aesthetically very pretty, but it’s still a GORGEOUS powder. Honestly. I also purchased the meteorites and LOVE them. It’s my first time trying them and I am happy to have them in my makeup collection. I use them almost everyday. I purchased the shade Medium Dore in shade 3.
