Yes we gave our British car manufacturing best then. Why Malcholm Wilson had the idea of 4x4 and every other country was going light and nimble, we had the Rover V8. Best for drag racing,straight line speed. Handled like a drunk swan,Touque like a jugaute through a wall. Top job for rally 😂

We’re Mouton and Mikkola in different Audi teams ????? Just that Mouton has the newer short wheelbase Quattro while Mikkola has the longer one. ?????????

Yeah different teams, Chris. Mouton was driving for the factory Audi Sport team and Mikkola was driving for Audi Sport UK team.

I have a suspicion too that mikkola preferred the longer wheelbase quattro.

Michelle was the test bunny for the sport version. All the other works drivers were still using the long wheelbase.
