Got everyone right so i guess you can say that MiHoYo did a great job designing special dishes since the food is very similar to the character and things like plates is in characters colour scheme (got Shenhe last second just because i was looking at the food the entire time, so i switched my attention to the plate and immidiatly got it)

Oh yeah! (Allow me to angrily brag for a sec) Since I accidentally got C2 Shenhe as a F2P (yes it really was an accident, I was trying for Ningguang) and took it as a sign to use her and use her quite often, when using this trick (which I was) I should recognize the food immediately, right? wow I actually managed to get All of them correct despite not having most of the characters whatsoever, I'm god. Though here's an advice, if you don't know who's specialty it is try to look around the food for clues related to the characters, there's bound to be some of the characters design infused with their specialty dish, that's how I figured out shenhe's, from the bowl pattern.

as someone who aggressively collects every dish in the archive, I knew all of them. Except on childe's where I went "beidou. wait no xiangling. wait no childe." I don't like childe very much I have every single dish except ganyu's, kokomi's, shenhe's, and itto's. I should be able to get kokomi's once I get her so yay. Gotta wait another year for ganyu's though. I either didn't log in on her birthday or just didn't get the mail.

Hoyo did a great job designing the dishes. Some of them I didn't get just because I was unfamiliar with the character, (Shenhe, Barbra, Sucrose) but as soon as it was revealed it made total sense.

A tip on guessing food is to look at the presentation and small details. Beidou has a black and red plate with a chili shaped like an anchor. Eula has a blue and white plate with her signature colors.

I love how it not just the design that make a special food but the food itself. Of course Mona specialty is a salad, it cheap and something she can easily buy the ingredients for. Of course Diona is a fish kabob. Of COURSE Ganyu meal has healthy and simple ingredients in it. It so cool that even if the food was not stylized to look like the character you could still figure it out if you know them well enough.

As somebody who loves to cook in this game, I’m proud to say I got all but two! I missed Tartaglia’s and Qiqi’s dishes-both of which are characters I don’t have, so I think it’s alright. I almost guessed Raiden for Sara’s dish, but then I saw the feathers and immediately knew. And I’ve never seen Itto’s dish either, but his huge knotted bow on the back really gave him away (as I am a huge Itto fan despite not having him; don’t blame me, I lost the 50/50 when I rolled TvT)!

i think (key word because its my opinion so if you think different ok then) xingqiu would be the hardest one if youre not used to him, like you won't even guess it because it has no signature or smth ok sucrose and zhongli one are also kinda difficult because i dont have/use them why qiqi knows how to cook chongyun too, there wasnt so much clue
