11:05 she may have expressed some bias when it comes to rain. statistically, it doesn't rain 'a lot' in Germany. the UK or Ireland, or Galicia in Spain are much wetter places in Europe

yeah the west can be more rainy because of the Gulf Stream but overall Germany is not that rainy

It does depend a lot where you live too. For example in the Black Forest village where i grew up, it would rain nearly everyday. Especially in summer, there was a daily summer rain of about 5 minutes around noon. It would never rain in winter though, but snow all the time. About 1 hour further south, in Freiburg which is half in the Black Forest and half in the Breisgau Plateau, it's the opposite. Rarely any snow in winter, but instead rain every other day. In summer though, it could go on for weeks or even months without a single drop - it is the warmest region in Germany though, due to the ground being on a hot plate. As of now, it's the first place where they started geothermal projects for getting energy out of it.

I lived in Frankfurt for a year where i was working there, the weather is terrible almost raining all the time and summer is very short but i enjoyed the summer because it's way less hotter than Egypt where i lived most of my life. Definitely South korea's weather better than both Egypt and Germany. Visited Seoul and Jeju Island several times both in Winter and Summer. It's just more balanced than other countries 😅

Each country have their own name in their own language. Australia also calls it soccer. Btw soccer comes from "Association football" which is what England use to call it.

@@embreis2257 Ireland have Gaelic football, Australia have Australian football only people that speak British English say football about the game. Maybe you should ask why British kept the second half. The reason it's called "football" is because it's played on foot, many games at that time were played from a horseback. Same thing with Rugby which full name is Rugby *football* because it's also played on foot. You do know that you have google, you do also have KZbin videos that explains the history.
