I agree. When it comes to videos like this they make it too complex. It should be gay, straight, bi. Bc most of the other ones are based on sexual situations rather than going for someone. Like why are they guessing that you aren’t a sexual person? That’s not the question. That’s my only thing with sexual orientation and how it gets mixed with deeper sexual terms. Just bc you are more emotional connected than sex does not, not make you straight, gay or bi. It’s just confusing.

If you respectfully read what I’ve said I said when videos like this on guessing someone’s sexuality it shouldn’t have nothing to do with whether or not you’re sexually attracted or not or what you identify as. To simplify it, it should just be bisexual or maybe include pan to be a bigger umbrella term. Otherwise when playing games like this most ppl are not gonna guess if someone is fucking asexual bc it’s still technically all the other orientations. If you didn’t know there are like MANY identifications which also get mixed with sexual orientation and sexuality. Just bc you’re heterosexual or Gay doesn’t mean you’re sexually forward. You can literally still be gay and asexual. Another one that shouldn’t be in this conversation is Queer, past my own opinions on that word, that isn’t a sexuality it’s an identity. Let alone will get mixed in. NOT TO MENTION the fucking rainbow of terms of Demi sexual. Example of my point, when you guess someone’s fav color you guess the umbrella shade not the literal shade. It makes it easier and more fun as you don’t have to guess the whole glossary. Not to mention individual ppl have different interpretations which doesn’t help. Thank you for commenting.

I agree with Dee. They should do one where you're guessing if they only identify as gay/lesbian, straight, or bi (maybe pan - since you can like anyone regardless of gender identity), but that's about it. How is someone supposed to know if you are asexual, demisexual, queer, etc? Like what!?

Pansexual is literally bisexual but since ppl like to believe in more than two genders .. they created a neo-word for people being attracted to those neo genders. Sorry but homosexuality, heterosexuality, and bisexuality are the legit terms for us, none of these made up fucking sexualities

I don't think you, yourself, would even know how to guess that. You're just trying to prove a point and got offended easily. I am very educated on knowing the terms and definitions of what queer, demisexual and asexual is. Who the hell are you to tell me that I am close minded? You don't even know me. If people identify as such, then so be it. More power to them. This is coming from an LGBTQ+ person like myself. However, what Dee and I are saying is, how are we supposed to guess a person are based on those specific sexual orientations? That's so specific. And, NO it's not easier. @@Cassxowary I don't have any people being different. Life would be boring if everyone was the same. I'm just saying that all of the extra labels is alot. I don't need to know all of that. I'd rather call you by your name unless in talking with someone they need to correct me. I don't want to assume anyone's gender pronouns but if I don't know its not necessary for people to get offended and that happens. If a person misgenders you and you correct them but they do it again that's when it becomes disrespectful. One thing I see these days is that sometimes children are misgendered because of long or short hair. I've seen parents get offended when people mistakenly do that. That's not necessary. Just because the parent knows the child's gender doesn't mean other people won't get it wrong. My own brother got upset years ago because someone misgendered his boys. I tried to explain to him that at such a young age they could be mistaken for girls because of the length of their hair. But of course he didn't see my point because he was too offended. It's things like that, getting immediately offended that I take issue with. Its an honest mistake.

11:35 tbh even irl I’m like “alright girl” 😭 the only *ORIENTATIONS* are really just straight, gay, and bi. Everything else describes sexual behaviors or standards/morals that u have ig, but that’s not really a sexuality as it doesn’t describe a specific gender u like. I just think it’s so unnecessary bc instead of creating 1000’s of different labels and terms nobody knows why can’t u just say, “I only have sex with ppl I feel a connection with”…….Its simple

For example, yes ik that’s called demisexual but tbh it’s extraneous to me. It’s not really an orientation as it doesn’t describe a gender preference, it just states that you like some sort of emotional connection before having sex with someone which is just a standard not a whole sexuality. I just don’t get why ppl feel the need to create a bunch of labels, especially when ppl talk about how labels can be limiting, when they can just describe what they like in a simple sentence or two….
