I think pop culture is a huge part of queer culture but I think Jenna focused too much on that instead of asking personal questions so she went for more stereotypical answers. Exactly!!! I think in the queer community, there are a lot of stereotypes about how gay are you based on what music do u listen to or how are you dressed etc. I think this is wrong because being queer is about being true to yourself no matter what and no clothes or music can define you, I also find these stereotypes are very offending and shouldn’t be coming from the queer community, because I believe being queer is walking in a path that is different from the stereotypes

It's funny how Brock (the straight male) guessed the most sexual orientations correctly, and how Jenna (the Queer but lesbian leaning) got none of them right. Brock was so open minded and actually listened to what each person had to say and asked good general questions to get a better read on them. Sierra was cute and she did her best though she seemed to try to home in more on the females since perhaps being a gay female is what she knows best; even if she did say she had a terrible gay-dar and got 1 right. However, it seemed that Jenna using her own personal gay/queer stereotypes was her down fall. She used what she liked as a gay female and reflected it heavily onto everyone and if it didn't stick then she started doubting. Her logic was almost like saying every gay guy dresses fashionable and can style hair. However the reason why she was so wrong with her guess' is that she felt that alot of 'gays/queers' should be watching a certain show or know how a certain queer person/character is; and if they didn't know something was 'wrong' with them and it made them 'less gay'. Turn s out she was dead wrong but it was a fun watch. XD

I think Jenna might be able to learn something here, I mean the reason she probably has a lot of these views has been motivated by wanting to improve her ability to empathize and understand other people better, but simply looking in the wrong place for it (Twitter). And if shes online a lot she'll probably see this vid and hopefully, with some humility, see how the video exposed this part of her and try to improve on that. We're all learning in our way but we can still help eachother out.

I relate to the girl in orange and I wrote about it before. Just because there are some stereotypes overrepresented doesn't mean it applies to everyone. Most people assume I'm straight due to my looks - and I don't necessarily shout it from the rooftops or is " apparent " with the looks and don't need to all my friends know as It propped up in conversation and I'm comfortable with who I am - and that's fine as I understand is just based kn stereotypes, but I'm not going to change the way I look In order to look like something that it's just not the way aligned with who I am. The way you look doesn't have to match to your sexuality and you shouldn't feel pressured to change jn order to "fit". Just be yourself. I'm a girly girl I love dresses doing my hair medium length nails and makeup when i can I love girly girls beautiful sexy women and I'm gay. And that's okay. Never change who you are If It's not within who you truly are. Ps never heard of Jenny Schecter. Guess horror movie? I'm not a fan of horror movies

I love this video. The conception is that gay people get offended when they are guessed correctly. I used to, but when I ,used to, I still had issues with being me. That may definition. It took me years to say it out loud. I love this video.
