Every time I see this task I'm amazed that there was no comment in the studio about John guessing Se7en based on "What 10 films are you in?".

John will often leave me baffled as he vacillates between genuine skill and cleverness in one task to utter and complete incompetence the next. His talents (and lack thereof) somehow transcend the type of task. Be it physical, mental, whatever. It’s all a coin flip between greatness and mediocrity.

Often when watching these tasks I think about how good I would be at them but watching this, I would absolutely suck at it. I m not good at abstract thinking and puns. Puns often go over my head because I take them at face value. It also doesn’t help that out of all those movies I’ve only seen frozen, the wizard of oz and karate kid so probably wouldn’t even think of most of them as even being a possibility. I’m pretty confident I would have gotten none of them right.

So in the film, Kevin Spacey's character has decapitated Gwyneth Paltrow's character and put it in a box so that Brad Pitt's character would get so angry that his wife was dead so that Brad Pitt would kill Kevin Spacey and finish off the 7 Deadly Sins and Morgan Freeman tries his damndest to stop Brad Pitt from murdering.

For the Americans: Fern's "Fanny Weapon" is insanely funny if you know what it means. In the US it's just a casual word for "bum" or "rear end". In the UK it refers to the female pubic area.

Was this the only time Dara got one point outside of "Wait, what?"? Obviously he's been last place more times than that but the other contestants (aside from Sarah) were pretty incompetent so the last place ended up being 2 points each for two people a lot of the time.

I searched the wiki and those were indeed the only times Dara got 1 point. Sarah also got only 1 point on just two occasions as well - self-portrait and the final prize task; the former was in episode 9, meaning she is the contestant to take the longest to receive just 1 point.

I thought it was without a doubt the best from the opening episode but I can see it being a bit weird seeing as you don’t get to see the contestant’s faces or really their outfits. I did like it when a similar thing occurred in series 7 though; the first filmed task was the ‘quick change outfit’ one, so it felt like a grand reveal when we saw Phil Wang’s outfit for the first time in the second filmed task.
