Parakeets are parrots, "parrot" refers to the order Psittaciformes as a whole, parakeets and macaws are both classified as true parrots, which are any member of the superfamily Psittacoidea.

I will say technically if you're going for the bird families the American Robin is technically a thrush, another note is that the white dove is just a colour variant of the species you put for pigeon, and as someone else commented the one for "parrot" is a ring-necked or technically know as rose-ringed parakeet, but now im just nerding on you xD I sadly got 2 wrong, as I'm not from america and I didn't recognise the Mockingbird, and secondly I messed up on the Quail and went Partridge, altho, don't quote me but I think Quails may technically be partridges lol.
