3:49 they transposed into the correct Sicilian opening until the Rc1 move, I doubt someone under 1000 would even know openings let alone Sicilian or transpose the right way, weird how you would guess 666 there.

@Qimodis maybe but it’s hard to accidentally play several correct moves in a row at a level under 900. I have a friend that’s 800 and I’m 1800 and when I play with her she never accidentally gets the opening correct or especially wouldn’t go into a mainline by accident. I’ve played her about 50 times now over a year. Mainline shows they studied the opening at some point even if they forgot it because at a low level it’s hard to get the right flow without an understanding of the moves. It’s like rolling a dice an hitting 243163 or some particular numbers each time, if it’s rolled at complete random it’s going to be extremely unlikely to get that exact combo within 6 rolls. Chess has more than 6 choices each move usually so it would be even more unlikely. The only exception I could think of that may have changed things is if the player watched Queens gambit Netflix series and wanted to learn the Sicilian or something and just started chess. But even my 800 friend got into chess cuz of that series but she can’t play that many correct moves against the Sicilian. But I guess it depends on the player 🤔
