The reason why the first color becomes green is because that's not a true black. Yellow and blue mixes to green, yellow and true black does not. But black paint typically is not a true black, it's a mixture of pigments that achieve a nice dark appearance and usually the amount of dark blue pigments is the most dominant one, giving you a very dark green when mixed with yellow and the white just brightens up the color. That's because most paint colors are created by mixing only RYB pigments (red, yellow, blue) and when mixing all of these together, you get brown, but if you add more blue to the mix, you get something that looks like black. However, this is not a true black, it only looks like black to your eyes. That's similar like your monitor creates yellow by mixing green and red light. Of course, green and red light mixed is not the same as true yellow light but it looks the same to you eyes.
