I feel like these are actually separated by time period rather than how easy or hard they are to recognize, because if I played any of the newer games showcased in this video I'd be more likely to recognize the songs. Also, as far as I've seen on the internet, the "hard tier" songs are far more popular than the other tiers.

First off, beautiful job with the music as always. I love the little rips you did into certain parts of one or two of the songs, definitely added to the flavor of the music! I didn’t get all of them (seeing as I’m a Nintendo person mostly, currently trying it branch out), but I got great fairy’s fountain and the ending them from Super Mario World simply from the transition from the song prior into it (hence me being a Nintendo person 😅)

Mostly depends on the games you've focused on. Easy is mostly popular modern games, Minecraft, Angry Birds, etc. Medium is mostly grittier modern games you'd find on PC, Playstation, or Xbox. Hard is mostly taken up by Nintendo games. So for people like you and me who mainly played or watched Nintendo games, Hard is actually the easiest since that's what we etched into our memories.

Pretty sure fairy fountain debuted in A Link to the Past first on the file select in 1991 before it appeared in Ocarina of time in 1998. It seemed like the difficulty was directly related to the difficulty of playing the piece instead of how hard it was to recognize it.

Yes! Many of the more iconic Zelda melodies originated in Link to the Past, and that was absolutely one of them. "Zelda's Lullaby" is another that many folks probably think originated from OOT, but didn't.

To be fair, the first one could also be correctly guessed as TES:III Morrowind's Main Theme, or TES:IV Oblivion's Main Theme. All three themes are the same song, just different parts of it (that all build to the final showdown in Skyrim).

I think some of them like "Assassin's Creed" are popular but personally, I've never played them ^^" I only got Minecraft, Angry Birds, and the Fairy Fountain. Technically the First one wasn't DDragonborn, but the "Elder Scrolls THeme" Which is the theme they have in most all of the games to some way or another, As the "Dragonborn" Th eme has it merged in, but the melody played is the "Elder scrolls theme" part, which ccan also be heard in Oblivion, and Morrowind (in a minor key)

Not many, but then again I had either never played or heard some of these. I was a bit surprised that "Fairy Fountain" was classified as hard, however seeing as how the Legend of Zelda is my favorite game series I would find it easy.
