Final film--"The Shining". Stephen King hated this adaptation of his novel, so he wrote a screenplay of his own, which ultimately became a TV mini-series starring Steven Weber. King's book was partially inspired by the book & film "Burnt Offerings", which King has cited as being favorites of his. Again, great choices!! I did notice that there's a movie here that was also in 1981 (#32--1980, #63--1981). I looked it up & it says 1980. Maybe the 1981 listing could've been replaced by "S.O.B." (a topless scene by, of all people, Julie Andrews!) & an Oscar-worthy performance by Richard Mulligan... or maybe "Bloody Birthday". A 1980 film not in the quiz to check out if you haven't seen it: "HealtH"

#32 - Superman 2 was released in Australia in 1980 and then worldwide in 1981. So decided to leave it in both. Just found HealtH on youtube. Thanks.
