(theme park geek here) The Jaws ride in Universal Orlando was removed in favor of Diagon Alley (one of the two Potter lands in the Florida parks). Also, I am 100% on board with Rhett regarding the Waterworld show at Universal Hollywood. This year I had a very unique angle as we stayed in the Hilton facing the park and I could see just about the entire show. Seeing the plane come in from the 17th floor was pretty cool.

Universal Studios uses modern tech to immerse you into a movie putting a lot of time an effort to make physical animatronics. The whole ride is usually on the most advance device. Disney has been doing way more projections with a couple of robots and you would know that when they break down. I guess they have him fooled and that's why Disney puts up more projected rides because they are cheaper and the ride its self is trackless because it's cheaper to produce.
