Made this specifically for a friend because all of the other guess the singer project sekai videos are kinda outdated now.
The characters were picked randomly by a number generator, but there was one specific character who didn't get picked even once so I had to interfere... I think you can tell which one.

23 mistakes (approximately lol my goldfish brain can't juggle counting and voice recognition at the same time ✌️😅) I struggled the most with Saki, Ichika, Mafuyu, and Ena. The most distinct ones to my ears are Minori, Shizuku, and Emu. The boys I guess fairly well tho it does get tricky when he's slinging higher notes; I end up mixing up Rui and Tsukasa, and Akito and Toya, but their vibes are at least distinct enough that I don't mix up the units lol This was fun 😋👌

I can't believe I messed up on Ena and Honami, I'd love to issue an apology to each of them. I recognized the guys, Nene and Shiho the fastest, their voices are pretty unique and I also binged Machico content (Lol and i loved how my brain translated An as lower register + stronger Kohane)

This is so interesting. I managed to get most of it right not only because I could memorize the voices of the characters, but because I could also figure it out by recognizing the song and who has anabo's A lot of the cast have very unique voices, it gets wayy easier too if you recognize the song and can identify who has an anabo. For me, it was easy to figure it out for Wansho and Momojan because I listen to their songs almost daily and their voices are completely different from each other. Some might have difficulty between similar voices but once you know how they sing it gets way clearer. Ie. Between Minori and Emu, Minori's high notes feel narrower and sometimes softer while Emu's gets projected and is very powerful. It's the same with Rui and Tsukasa, Rui is a lot more smooth sounding while Tsukasa is again, louder and powerful even with quieter lines With someone like Kohane as well! Akina sings both in this high pitched mousey voice but also this powerful chest voice a LOT, allowing us to tell who Kohane is almost immediately The VA's do such a good job with the characters. Which makes me sad when I can barely recognize Honami because I can't hear her through Ichika's vocals usually! However in songs like Regulus and Stage of SEKAI, she really gets to shine and I could recognize her immediately Akito and Toya I could struggle with. When singing Akito's line in Hollow, he sounds almost exactly like him lmao??? Akito too. Which is very interesting considering how different their voices are especially while talking. It's just a matter of what they're singing I think, for me, I can recognize Kanade and Haruka immediately. Kanade's very soft and almost out of breath singing is a tell-tale sign it's her. I can't exactly describe Haruka's, but it's definetly the most different for me out of all the cast I love proseka sm and their VAs are AWESOME! They inspire me so much thank you VAs ilya Heres my mistakes bc I was too lazy to count points Mistake 1 - Akito Yobanashi - I thought this was Touya... Mistake 2 - Honami From Tokyo - I couldnt recognize and didn't think this was a leoni song for some reason??? From tokyo is literally one of my faves LMAO Mistake 3 - Ena Aishite³ - I couldn't tell between EnaMafu?? I felt like it was too soft for Ena but too harsh for Mafu Mistake 4 - Ichika Calc. - I didn't listen to Calc enough to recognize it or the sekai vocals huhu... Mistake 5 - Ena Irony - Same with Ichika Calc.! I thought this was Shiho LMAO Mistake 6 - Honami Glow - SAME WITH THE LAST TWO?? BUT WORSE??? I could not recognize her at ALL i feel so bad...

87/90 LETS GOOO i couldnt name a few songs and akito's uninterrupted indigo left me stumped (forgot that song was in the game, also thought it was toya) but overall i think i did well. i see that a lot of ppl got tripped up when it came to saki and honami since we dont hear them sing a lot in the sekai covers so it certainly helps that i know all leo/need alternate vocals by heart lol. (tbf the alts chosen for saki are the ones where she deviates from her usual signing voice. those being ikanaide and lost and found) my main issue was with niigo since i dont know most of the songs they cover so ermmm ye. great video!!

78.5/90. Got every singer except for Saki (Lost and Found, did not guess the song) and Kanade (MKDR/DSCF, love that song), and 41 songs. Had to stop midway though to get the Kanade Tricologe cover and play it lol. I'm an old Vocaloid fan so some of these songs I remember from when they first released, plus some of the albums they're on.

I missed about ten of them, maybe a little less. Voices which I can apparently not tell apart: Honami - Ichika - Saki Minori - Airi Haruka. I don't remember what I mixed her up with, but I don't seem to be very goid with her voice.
