Imagine being Georges Bizet. A french composer of immense talent, trying to survive by writing operas. Your opera Carmen becomes a huge success and is one of the most played operas of all time. Even when people stop watching operas, your overture is still world famous, played millions of times on various media. And then one day some guy creating a game about animatronic killer animals copies your music. That's fine, you've been dead for over a century, the music is public domain. Then someone credits the random guy from the videogame for your hard work. Bizet is probably rotating in his grave.
@DarkLxrd6 ай бұрын
I understand what you mean, but in this quiz you only have to guess the name of the game. The fact that composer is used here instead of video game is a bit over the top. I listed the composers only as a bonus, and I listed the composers of the given game, not the original composers, who are historically the first originators of the given composition. This belongs in the history of music education and not a simple music quiz about stupid video games.

Hell march as a medium song? Not even half a second and there's no guessing what it is, it's the most iconic song in the entire franchise lol. Shoutout to the heroes 3 battle music, solid choice.

I have been building a videogame music list to use in my D&D games. This video added a few to my list. (Hell's March, God Shattering Star, Bury the Light, and Disposal unit.)

I have another song for you that could work very well. "Twilight of The Gods" and "Lord of a Dead Empire" from Fire Emblem Echoes; Shadows of Valentia. They are incredible pieces that can easily fit into a DnD campaign!

I’ve personally told all my players that if they hear *god shattering star* they’ve fucked up royally.

If you liked Hell March from Red Alert, you might also like Hell March 2 and Hell March 3 from RA2 and 3 respectively. There is also a lesser known, but unique and good Hell March version from Red Alert Retaliation, but I don't know its oficcial name. So overall there is 4 Hell March versions. At least that I know off. And if you liked Bury the Light from DMC5, yo might also like Devil Trigger from the same game.

I was hoping so bad that a Jet Set Radio song would make it into this list. That game has such a distinct sounding soundtrack, easily one of my favorites of all time. I will unironically listen to the whole album from time to time cause every song is a banger.

Props for saying baka mitai is from Yakuza 5, but why is Bury The Light in hard?

Thanks! At first I wanted to put "bury the light" in medium, but in the end it didn't fit there :)

I got 70P. I found the medium difficulty a bit platform exclusive-heavy. So i didnt know all the playstation games. For hard it was less a music quiz but more of "did you play it" quiz 😄 because all 7 i played of them i recognized, but for the rest i had no chance to even try Still it was a fun challenge, thx ^^
@BETMARKonTube Жыл бұрын
In those quiz, people keep using the Mortal Kombat song, even if it never was in any of the games. Use the "choose your destiny" one, the "animality", the "Friendship", the "ending screen"... there are a lot of memorable iconic themes from the original trilogy.
@DarkLxrd Жыл бұрын
This one was in game actually, but only on Sega version as an OST. And one of those hypnotic house remixes was used as an intro. Yeah, I tried other MK songs in my video game quizzes, but unfortunatelly most people are familiar only with techno syndrome.
@BETMARKonTube Жыл бұрын
@@DarkLxrd I understand. Still quite sad, thinking that people only recognize the one that is not a real part of the game (not even an intro or an ending), but something used in the commercial and for the live action Movie. Like when in the "guess the anime song" lists, they use any kind of remote japanese intro (even of series only 2 people watched), but they always have to add the AMERICAN version of Pokemon, despite the many good original ones (that is also cheating, if all the other songs were in japanese).
