as far as justin’s question, i think the kids should be able to have locks on their doors. as someone who’s had both locks and no locks, it’s something that’s nice to have. just because it’s there doesn’t mean they’re always gonna use it! it’s also a good privacy thing for the older kids, so when they change they won’t have to worry about it someone walking in. just something to think about :)

I love that when Charm made a mess with the sugar Brooke hyped her up about “making a sand castle” instead of getting upset or mad about the mess. That builds healthy relationships at an early age because some parents would yell at the kid or get annoyed and it would make the kids feel like they’re bad or a burden or things like that just because they make a mistake.
