To be fair, if you know how to play Garen he has pretty incredible scaling... but like... only garen players and really knowledgeable players know how to access his scaling, so yeah it was a giveaway. (In late game Garen can basically 1v1 anyone, push lanes quicker than anyone, zoom around the map at incredible speed, destroys towers and is very tanky.)

I love the combo of super professional set, but with the nonchalant, non-script awkwardness of them being themselves. Really funny dynamic to see this. A lot of times a content team would makes something super scripted and structured that just makes it seem robotic. I love this idea. It'd be really cool if one person who has never played League tries to study League for a week or so, and THEN do a game like this. Then the super obvious questions like "what is a summoner spell" or "name 5 champions" or something would be much more difficult. I think the team may have to lean on the social aspects / memes of League (River Shen, JG dif, Top is an island, flaming teammates) I think that would make for interesting content. "What does it mean if the support plays Nunu with smite and follows the jungler around?" "Who is the most annoying champ and why - you cannot answer the same as someone else."

Actually adam, there is 3 types of waves : Normal waves with 6 cs / Cannon waves with 6 cs + 1 cannon minion for a total of 7 cs / And once u destroy the 3 inibitors, you have 2 super minions per waves for a total of 8 cs

If you wanna get specific like that, then once you destroy 1 inhib, you get 1 extra super minion, making total up to 8 cs (including cannon minion, since it spawns more frequent the later you get in game (every wave at min 25). When you destroy all 3 inhibs, you get 2 extra super minions making a total of 9 cs per wave (2xsuper, 3xmelee, 3xcaster, 1xcannon) :)

Just ask something someone wouldn’t google or find in a league introduction video. “What does skarners ult do” “what is the name of the tank item that gives 800hp and heals you when out of combat” “how many jungler items can you choose from” “name ADC champs down the line and just repeat down the line until we run out of ADCs or someone says some random champ” you can figure it out in the first 5 questions

Do you hate yourself? What are the drakes names and what effect do they have on the map? Which wave does the first cannon minion spawn? What is the most commonly used summoner spell by all roles? What role is flamed the most in low elo? What is a lollipop? What does elo mean? Who makes the calls in the bot lane? What champion shield makes you immune to cc? If you're in a solo lane, how many minions and of what type do you need to kill to hit level 2? If your enemy jungler starts on red buff side and you plan to follow in the same direction, what buff do you kill first?

Ask questions so that each contestant has to give a new answer, so even if the imposter memorized a couple answer they could still be caught e.g. name a champion with a global ult. 5 people should give 1 new answer each no problem. Then ask the question again. Can be applied to many other things like name a champion with an airborne skill or a point and click skill

I don't think the Garen answer was that bad. He scales hard into the mid game, and tends to wreck in low elo, but falls off after. "Garen scales hard" sounds believable as a low elo answer.

Tbh I don’t really play that much league but I’ll say if you watch enough gameplays, you’ll definitely know. I know a lot about Dota from watching my friend play and league and dota are similar in some ways so it was much easier to get use to playing league
