Squirrels love tulip bulbs especially those in pots, that’s why when planting them in pots some people put a wire mesh in the pot above the bulb.

I recently subscribed to your channel because I'm on a list for an allotment. I find you very interesting and absolutely hilarious... (burying a body and the scarecrow names)... keep it up... you're amazing, thank you xx

Did you ever watch Rosie and Jim when you were little Emma? I think it was on ITV. We'd come home after school and watch it, this was in the early 90's. Two puppets on a barge and a duck. Anyways, I thought those names would be cute!

Put mesh over your tulips as squirrels love them-little sods ate all mine bulbs last year. Had to plant new ones this year -in pots this time-and I have mesh over them all now

I love your sweet peas! I plant mine about this time of year to get blooms in spring. They don’t last that long here in Southern California. The dry summer heat knocks them out usually by July. We don’t get any rain in the summer with temps in the 80-90F (27-34C) until just about this time of year. 😢

Do you have sweet pea in October too? I have loads of them flowering and im in the very north of Ireland. Weather has been mad this year. Have you ever tried Canterbury bells. They look lovely in pictures so i bought 4 seed packets and now i have hundreds of young plants. 😮 And loads of 1980s favourite honesty, which is probably my favourite plant of all time.

I like that you can have an actual shed . On my allotment site, we're only allowed shelters, 4ft deep, just under 6t wide and only 3 sides. Boooo!!!

That black netting is very dangerous to wildlife. It could easily kill a bird coming down to drink. It would be much safer to use something more visible to catch the leaves, like the white cloth. Or just pull the leaves out before they can decompose.
