EAP is the multispokes, HIDs, Recaro seats, and some door cards I believe. Also, the screaming yellow and competition orange colors were only available with EAP

I daily drive an SVTF, 140k miles and it is well loved. They like their parts, but the motors are solid if left stock. The car will rot away around the power train, they have lots of rust issues. They do not like to get hot since it is a floating cylinder head deck. 6 speed is incredibly close ratio, it gets to 45 in 1st thanks to 7.5k redline but it will be at 4k in 6th at 85. They handle phenomenally and the tuned zetec loves to be thrashed. They have great seats and very close pedals. Fantastic platform. Very fun car, I can't think of a better one for getting around town. I get 30+ highway if I'm conservative, and I average 15-20 around town. I thrash it every time I drive it and it sees redline and lateral grip limit every day.

You don't have to leave it stock they can reliably handle 300+ wheel with turbos on 93. I gaurantee it'll go 100s of thousands of miles even boosted if properly maintained. Alot of people have no clue what proper maintenence is.

It redlines at 7300 stock and it gets to 45 in first because it has a stupid tall 1st gear. Works well if you boost it but sucks for na.

One of my best friends bought a brand new 4 door non hatch right after high school... He was my first customer for the boxes I build. Managed to fit 4 Alpine Type Rs in there like he wanted. sounded like shit because the subs were choking... learned alot from that build lmao.

I'm not a single mom a boy racer or a boomer but I do own a svt ford focus manual transmission with the multi spoke wheels. it's my daily driver. I love this rocket most people sleep on this car until they cant catch it. Cheap reliable fun.

I have a 03 that I've had for six years. They are insanely stout, because I have beat on it worse than male going through puberty and it's still going strong. Like running it to redline every time I drove it. I did quit driving it like that after the second head gasket I replaced. Hopefully will be completely rebuilding the motor for boost soon. Would really love to turn it into a RS and make it awd, but haven't researched how difficult or pricey that would be yet.

These are great motors and fun transmissions but no matter what they are never going to be really fast compared to modern cars. Lack of an LSD and reliable upgrades limit them to a realistic 300hp before you run into serious reliability issues. The overall quality of the platform is pretty terrible too. I’ve owned 5 and they rust terribly and there are so many quirks that make them undependable for a daily driver from random alternator failures to tons of sensor issues to coolant and oil leaks to wheel bearings and front end slop to shift linkage quality to cowl leaks and corrosion. Just not well built cars but they are really cheap and expensive issues are uncommon unless your timing belt breaks - in which case that is total neglect.

Car #3 why go $4000 when the highest was $3500?!? Why wouldn't you go $3501 or $1. Only 2 options if you are the last guy. You can't go over so you have 50/50'chance when you go 3rd unless they are on the money.
