Be inspired. What an anointed speech. When we do the impossible, we know what God can do, as he has done before, for the USA. My privilege was being raised by bookworm parents who also pulled themselves out of dire poverty. Dad's side from tenant farmers near Chattanooga, TN; Mom from an orphanage in Quebec, Quebec, Canada. Just to make life a little more challenging, I was blessed with undiagnosed ADD learning disability. All the better to depend on God allowing me to beat all the odds. Amazing grace . . .

Dr. Ben Carson is one of my favourite human beings. I’ve heard his story before but I never get tired of listening to him. Humility, grace, humour, encouragement and godliness. America you are blessed to have him and his wife Candy. Over here in Western Australia we got to borrow him for awhile so we helped him to flourish in the early years. Hypocrit! Ben Carson should never stand to speak on behalf or in front of an Adventist audience. He has denied Christ and his faith a long time ago. It's a shame that the Seventh-Day Adventist church keeps embracing him.
