Guests in the Syberhouse

This is a longer introduction to our guests who are staying with us for a little while. These are black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. They were hanging out in our garden on the carrot tops, so we brought them inside to they can grow and eventually become butterflies.

It's fascinating, isn't it? This is my 3rd year bringing the caterpillars in from the yard.
