Most Indian anchors and interviewers speak more than their guests! However there are two brilliant exceptions-Samina (Shaksiyat) and Irfan (Guftagoo). Both are excellent listners- a rare quality among Indian interviewers! They research well and make the programmes very interesting. I never miss any of the episodes of these two programmes.

(said Einstein of Mahatma Gandhi)” Sahir’s poetry & wisdom would shine on this earth long after we have perished. ­ ­ SAHIR= Wisdom of Aristotle+Brilliance of Einstein. ­ ­ ­ ­ ­ ­ Sahir Ludhianvi was FIRST A PHILOSOPHER who wrote poetry to convey his GOD GIVEN WISDOM & life experiences of his own to common man for his/her welfare in his poetry. An even more fantastic rendering by Sudha Malhotra was "Wisarsheel khaas malaa" sung in the 1960s. And if I say "was", it's because after Asha Bhosle recorded the same - under the pretext that it had originally been composed for HER and it was because of HER "unavailability" at the time that it had been given to Sudha Malhotra - not surprisingly, ever since then it is impossible to lay hands on Sudha Malhotra's recording...! If anyone has that record PLEASE upload it ...

पुराने दौर की गायिकाओं की आज इतनी पूछताछ होने लगी है।उस दौर में मंगेशकर बहनों का जादू छाया था ‌। इसलिए इतनी प्रतिभाशाली गायिकाओं की किसीने नोटीस ही नहीं थी। मुझे जहां तक याद है हम सिनेपत्रिकाएं इतनी पढ़ा करते थे पर कभी भी गलती से शारदा जी,मुबारक बेगम, हेमलता, कृष्णा कल्ले,सुधा मल्होत्रा मीनू पुरूषोत्तम, मीना कपूर इनके रिकार्डिंग की खबरें भी नहीं प्रिंट होती थी।ना इंटरव्यू,शारदा जी के इतने विडियोज यूं ट्यूबपर अपलोड देखकर दुख हुआ इतना लंबा इंतजार करना पड़ा इन लोगों को। अपने करियर के दौरान टैलेंट होकर भी गुमनामी सिंगर बनकर गाते रहे। ऊषा तिमोथी को अभी बहुत से शोज में बुलाया गया। पारसमणी की जीवनकला डांसर को माधुरी दीक्षित के शोज में बुलाया गया।यह क्या है,अब रियलिटी शोज को चलाने के लिए जो पुराने गायक हयात है उनको सिर आंखों पर सजाने में अपना स्वार्थ भी पूरा कर रहे।सुधाजी हमारे भोपाल में ही सेटल्ड है महिलाओं को गुड़िया बनाने की ट्रेनिंग देती है।एक से एक गीत गाएं हैं जो किसी से कम नहीं है। क्लासिकल हो ग़ज़ल,भजन सभी।लाहोर की परवरिश से उनकी उर्दू जुबान काम आई, साहिर लुधियानवी साहब के अधिकतर उच्च स्तर के गीतों को गाने का सुनहरा मौका मिला। गुफ्तगू शो बहुत बढ़िया लगा। इरफान जी संयत लहजे में कलाकारों से बड़े अच्छे से बात करते हैं।
