Mark 6: 30 - 34
In today's Gospel we see what being a good shepherd really looks like. The apostles are labouring intensely among the people, without even time to eat. Jesus calls them to a deserted place to rest. We too need to rest, to spend time in prayer, if we are to become the shepherds God wants us to be.
