For summon necro, it's best to start by putting one point into Skeleton Mastery and max Raise Skeleton first. Here's why: 10 Skeleton Mastery / 11 Raise Skeleton: 5 Skeletons with 37-39 damage 1 Skeleton Mastery / 20 Raise Skeleton: 8 Skeletons with 41-43 damage

I am master of getting D keys.Nothing as good and safe as Barbarian. Either WW, Frenzy, or berserk.I just howl everything on the way and in nithlak room so he has nothing to blow up hehe. I put 20 points in howl so it last for long time.What a grate skill. Takes me much longer to get H or T keys then D.

I would have put 1 pt into mages to get a few extra meat shields. sure cold can shatter corpses but then he cant use ce on you anyway so it still helps. This build for the necro works very well for a day 1 ladder char. if you have bad minions you may be looking at a 5-6 minute run, more if you have to revive merc/ go farm another army. for the most part it seems that the only absolute must with the necro build is the gear for the merc. If you are carefull you could focus more on + to skill gear and less on resists (bone runeword for armor, + 3 summon ammy, splendor) would put you at lvl 29 skellies and a larger ce radius.

Part of the game's calculation into your defense and whether you get hit or not is based on your level. A plugy simulation by reducing the # of attribute and skill points used will not be true to life. Your character level is 93 which significantly changes your chance to get hit innately, regardless of how many skill points you have left over. Also your base life and mana are based on your level as well, which you cannot change. It's only between 20 and 30 points difference but it's not 1:1.

Oh hey! Nice vid ) But here is one thing. The main problem with Nihlathak aren't his Corpse Explosions, but stupid Snakes. There are glitch with those Snakes (i don't actually know if it still presented on BNet). Like Snakes in Nihlathak's temple uses Poison Javelin skill and for some reason if you walk (or something) in those clouds of Poison gas then sometimes you take damage every fkin frame! Not only Poison Damage, but also physical damage from Javelin. That's so annoying. I wonder if there are a budget gear to protect yourself from that ridiculous Physical damage. Like staking a lot of "Damage Reduced by X" or something. edit: I mean it does high damage only because it does damage every frame. So game running at 25 fps so it does 25 javelin's damage per second. But every separate javelin's damage are not that high. So it should be possible to overcome it by "Damage Reduced X" from cheap gear i think. I don't know

Koh1fds - Snakes don't spawn every game. So you can just save and exit if you want, if they spawn. Furthermore, all you have to do is not stand in the poison clouds. It's doable. CE is certainly the most dangerous thing inherent to Nihlathak himself. The mobs that can spawn down there are dangerous too, but as I stress several times in the video, just save and exit if it looks rough.

Snakes spawns here like 5-8 times out of 10. It's very inconvenient to respawn map that many times (especially with Necro LUL). And i'm pretty sure it's possible to completely protect yourself from them by Stacking some damage reduced X even from cheap Sol runes. I think this guide missed this most important thing completely. It's actually much easier to avoid Corpse Explosions than Snake's glitch and Snake's glitch are much more deadly than CE. With CE you can take at least 1-2 hits. That level 70 simulation is nonsense though. Your level is used in your chance to hit and the monsters chance to hit you. Probably far more important than the stat points you get.

I apologize for the late reply. I was absent for quite awhile from YT. You're absolutely correct. Being a higher level also gives more Health (not from vitality, but just passively from leveling up). However, at the time of this video I wasn't willing to re-level new characters for the purpose of one video, and I never use Hero Editor, so this was the best I could do. I understand it's imperfect, but it was as far as I was willing to do.

How can you get to Nitha without dying? Assassin cannot run through monsters, afaik.

It's only on players1, so you just kill things along your way, or dodge them. I tended to have Burst of Speed active while running there to move faster, and used Fade when at Nilithak. I would just run around things as much as possible, and only fought when I had to.

i have problem with cold sorc because that room is 90 % filled with minions and i don't have space to port lol. for some reasons i have like 100 % - 200 % more minions in that room :O. i got those birds that shoots orange orbs cold imune minions and snakes some times even minions from act 3 the fuck :D can't port through room easy and i can't stop by sec and cast blizzard on nihalak XD

day 1 of Ladder you probably still in NM mfing for gear to go to Hell, need a video of how to get to Hell day 1 of Ladder, i can get there day 1 but not farm it day 1
