Rebind the lean keys. Q and E are not ideal at all. I have mine at 2 mouse buttons that are easy to access and don't get in the way of moving with my left hand.

Hey y'all! Another tipp: Try to use toggle mode instead of hold (gameplay options). I had the same problem and tried to rebind leaning to all sorts of keys and/or mouse buttons. In the end I had to realize that neither giving up the default wasd hand position to hold down Q or E, nor using the left hand pinkie and thumb, nor holding down different mouse buttons while aiming, firing, switching sides and sometimes even targeting (holding right mouse button) would ever work out for me. That was before I found out that there is a toggle mode. Now, the whole lean peeking thing is something I fundamentally have to get used to but at least for now toggle seems to work better for me then hold and with it enabled, I find Q an E acceptable as well but I'm still testing. Anyway, I hope you find this helpful!

Q and E are terrible default lean keys, IMO, because in order to slide and lean in the same direction you need to use the same finger. Rebind them to something else that you can press at the same time as A & D. I actually reversed the Q & E binds so I can press them at the same time as sliding with A & D.

Another great vid @wackyjacky101! Hopefully you do a guide on how 3rd person close range is not accurate in line with the cross hair. If you ADS at someones head that is within 20 meters or so and go back to 3rd person view, you will notice the cross hair moves to about a foot above and to the right of the person's head. Take the shot from that point and it is considered a headshot even though the cross hair doesn't appear to be on their head. Keep up the great work!

Yeah a lot of people try to do big flicks and big aim adjustment for imitate pro players, but the key for have good aim and fast kills is to avoid wasted crossair movements as you say in this vid. The less you move your crossair to your target, the less time you take for have the kill, and low sens will help you with micro adjustments. Nice tips and sorry for my terrible english :)

Nice Video once again! Can you briefly say whats the difference between 3rd and 1st person view in aiming? Sounds like everything except crosshair placement in some circumstances (like peeking around corners) is the same. Especially the peeking and lean peeking is necessary as well in 3PP if one knows where the enemy is and just needs to shoot them (in ADS). I have a hard time moving while leaning so that is definitely smth I need to improve on. Also a little hint for 3PP (or is that the same for FPP as well?): Don't go too close to your cover if you wanna go into ADS, since then your character will take the gun down and not aim. Make it a habit of staying a little away from the cover.

I mean you dont really use xhair placement at all in 3pp, if you are abusing the flying camera properly you should always be peaking an enemy with the camera before engaging, then xhair placement becomes similar. Its certainly a different habit than always keeping xhair at head high in the right locations so you can win the duel.

after using hold for all my time playing pubg, ive decided to switch back toggle to see how it goes, there is that little bit of accuracy lost when using hold because of the change of grip. coming from cs, ive never used that grip before, only relaxed, hopefully it goes well

So far im having more success with a higher sensitivity, managed to win 3 solo games in 40hrs of pubg, lower sensitivity made me struggle when trying to shoot moving cars, it also caused a lot of fatique in long playing sessions.

I've heard that mouse smoothing is turned on by default in pubg. Turning this off may be helpful to those experiencing lots of frame drops. But to turn it off you have to mess with the config/ini file...

pancakes I know a lot of people use Q and E just by holding, but personally I really like using my extra mouse buttons to lean. This may not work for a lot of mice, but I have a Steelseries Rival and the the way the two mouse buttons on the side are aligned with thumb, it allows me lean more efficiently.

The most important thing for anyone to do is practice shooting under pressure . I used to drop from the plane and land as far as I could from everyone else and then try to sneak into the final zones . I would die almost immediately because my aiming sucked . The best advice I have received is to land in hot spots and practice shooting , aiming and movement . Who here would really want a team mate that has spent the last hour dying when they got to the final zones because their aiming sucked ? I would much rather have a team made up of people that have spent that same hour dropping into popular zones? getting kills and have at least practiced their aiming . Pubg is a shooting survival game and not a scavenging simulator. Changing how I play the game has landed me 9 wins so far and countless other top 5, 10 spots.

If you want to get better at peeking and leaning play Rainbow Six Siege... Its all about them peeks and angles. I learnt it the hard way....but im really good at peeking now as a result and have gotten many kills using that tactic👍 👌

The one question I can't seem to find answered is how the heck do you peek with leaning and move left and right regardless of which way you're peaking. For example, if I lean right with E my index finger is off of D. Yet people seem to be able to easy move right with D and then back with A. Like how wacky does on his newer vids or this one at 5:05 with the M16

Great content! but i do disagree on the whole body peek in CQC, always lean, even when clearing houses, gives opponent less time too react before your firing back. and you can crouch lean to change where your head pops out. only body peak if your jumping around corners with a shotty or something too make space for teammates that are comming in after you. or just becouse jumping around with shotty is fun :D

can't really help you with dealing against other lean peekers but if you want to watch and learn from a god of lean peeking you should watch shroud, he pretty much leans while shooting for every kill he gets

Use grenade, or peek first and basically put your crosshair where his head is, takes time but when you get the hang of it, you'll hit lean peeking enemies in no time.
