A question that is general so that I can consider "this" as a choice.

Titanium is great when cost of material and processing permits needing high temp/ corrosion/ very compact strength to weight or high fatigue resistance is neeeded, otherwise 6000,2000,and 7000 aluminum can do the job generally and sometimes save more weight.

The most common titanium alloy is Ti-6%Aluminum,4%Vanidium, (not voltage?)

7075 can be cast! There is as cast 7075 material on the market, usually in plate.
