I’m new to Druid but, moonfire isn’t a part of your standard rotation? If glyphed it seems to do as much damage as insect swarm it seems weird not to use it

mostly ok. debateable if its better to play only with is or mf in starfire phase and is in wrath phase, difference between both versions seems small. but, ur not casting the treants in fight, thats a waste of gcd, if ur prepotting u use them right before the pot and just send them on the boss with ur petbar and use the gcd for something else. now with the option to send them u dont need to cast them on the boss anymore. but taking the mp5 over the 12% int as spellpower is a big NONONO. u dont even need the mp5 atm. i never run oom in any fights. so why should i not take the extra spellpower?

As a Balance main not bad guide, however with Starfall you want to pop it as close to the start as possible but don't want to blindlessy just pop before trinket procs/lightweave.

ah this is more than wrong.. you definitly start FF -> Wrath until you get the eclips prog (usually 3 wraths ) -> Moonfire -> Starfire until you get your progg -> insect swarm -> wrath you dont need the dots on the boss they are only here to support your starfire and wrath use starfall once your trinket progs

@@rcpclassic well sure, as a super basic rule of thumb they might say this, as I stated, ”caveats”. You can just do some basic math and see why it’s a bad “all the time” rule. For example, you’re in a lunar eclipse, with a haste pot up , or hyper speed accelerators….or bloodlust…and theres 7 sec left on the eclipse. Blowing a gcd on IS here is a bad idea. Also, if you’re someone who is wood at doing basic math on your head on the quick, it’s a good idea to know your cast timer under certain buffs/base to know what you can squeeze in. For example, if you have a 2.1 base starfire cast time, and you’re in a lunar eclipse, and IS falls off and you have, say 5 sec left on the eclipse, you could either waste a global on insect swarm and only get one starfire, or get TWO starfire casts off and just insect swarm once eclipse falls off. What sounds like more damage, one tick of insect swarm for a few hundred or the extra 10k plus of your starfire being a crit?
