My JBL Charge 2+ stopped working and would only show the power light on but nothing else worked including on/off. Could not “reset” and plugging in only appeared to brighten the power light. I followed this video to orient myself to the procedure and got lucky because I tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery and sure enough the unit turns on and off and is working again. I didn’t need to disassemble as much as this video to unplug the battery as it can be accessed from the side without removing the battery and at most only needed to unscrew one speaker without needing to disconnect the speakers. Thanks for your video it helped me immensely and I’m thankful my fix was so basic. What a PITA to get to the battery though...

How to make this connect to direct power? My battery is puffed and I don't want to buy a new one.. I just want it to be a regular speaker now. Not Bluetooth. Any tips?

Hi, could you be knowing why by charge 2 is not charging even after changing the battery? I have now ordered two batteries but still not working. When I plug the speaker it only lights in one same position.

Are you serious? Break this thing apart to change a battery, I’d rather keep using my charger or buy another speaker… this bullshit

yeah it’s dumb. My screws were like glued in place too lmao. It took me 10-20 min and a ton of elbow grease just to unplug the battery and reconnect it. It fixed my issue so yay but still was a PITA
