Back in the day my Dad not only did power but also trees I have always admired the arborist but with out hiring on with a tree crew had no way to learn. I just bought SRT equipment due to PETZL having a Great Sale! When I got it all and wanted to 1st read the manufactures words of wisdom on the product...then try to put this into action. (We have a BIG Cottonwood in the front yard and that's where I do all my Practicing) So, I said to the Wife " if you hear me say" ah that didn't go as Planned" better come see what's up(haha) This is not as easy as one might Think! Getting the Brain to function in a different direction. So, My suggestion is to do a video showing how it all works, each pice and how they get interacted one with the other. As always Thanks Dave Bill

@WesSpurTreeEquipment9 жыл бұрын
wildairsoft1 Vortex Hot will come a tad more supple and pliable than any of the Arbormaster lines right out of the box. A lot of people are fans of using 24-strands for their long lanyards, but ultimately the preference in hand feel and weight will come down to a personal one.

I take a three sixteenths (dia.) piece of wire rope and then have a three quarters piece of Poly - Pro or Dacron woven over it. Have the eye in the wire rope crimped and then hand turn the eye in the synthetic line over the wire. Use a "Cat's Paw" knot ( on your D ring ) and your'e go to go, no hardware clash, extra weight and expense, no chance at failure either as knots are fail proof...Tree Service Supply outfits love to sell gear, Don't be misled...
