In Calgary or Edmonton, rent for 2 bedroom 1 washroom condo apartment ranges $ 1250-1350 (average 1300 $) including Water, Heat but Electricity (hydro) extra. Normal apartments 2 bedroom cost 1100-1200 $ per month including water heat. Immigrants who work in downtown, live in Downtown Calgary or Edmonton, otherwise NE area of Calgary generally preferred by Immigrants in Calgary. Thanks Keep posting good informative videos.

You mention power bill. I think in you last video, you mentioned depending on the power bill, I think you said gas or electric is more expensive than the other. Which one is better when renting apartments
@gulatifamilyincanada318
@gulatifamilyincanada318 2 жыл бұрын
In Apartments you only pay for power (electricity) bill and heating and water is free. When renting a basement you should make sure what all bills you are responsible to pay, because if the landlord asks you to pay for electricity bill and he has electric heating in the basement then your bill will be really high in winter. It is always cheaper and better to rent apartments

Hello Ajay, Thanks for watching our video. There are more that 50 schools in Saskatoon and they are in every community, so when you go to see the house you should check how far the school is from that place and the infrastructure wise all the schools are more or less similar. But areas that you want to look at are Hampton, Kensington, Downtown, Willowgrove, Rosewood etc.

@gulatifamilyincanada318
@gulatifamilyincanada318 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for watching our video. If you are planning to rent a basement, sometimes basements have Electric heating system instead of usual Forced air furnace heating system, and this makes electricity bill shoot up quite alot. If you are not renting basement then you don't have to worry about this, because other types will for sure have the 'forced air furnace heating' and apartments provide heating at no charge. Hope I answered your question. Please share and subscribe if you have not already.

Hello Kamran, Thanks for watching this video. There are lots of jobs in pharmacy for sure, but you need to get certified in pharmacy from here before you can apply. Thanks for watching this video. Here when temperature dips below -15, it is advisable to plug in your car to the electric outlet. The cars here has a block heater that keeps the battery and the fuel pipe warm for car to start easily in cold weather. So all the cars here have a cord hanging out of the hood, that needs to be plugged in to the electric outlet using the extension cord. I hope this answers your question. Guys your efforts are commendable i have been watching many videos but your explanation n knowledge is superb.... I am planning to move there in March. I need to know what type of vehicle would you suggest us to buy when we come there, as we are a family of four having 2 sons 11n 6 respectively. Shall we go for a car or SUV, American or Japanese new or pre owned. Plz shed some light Thanks regards from Pakistan

Hello, Thanks for watching our video. I would never buy a sedan, for 2 reasons. One its too low and drifts alot on snow. Second no room at all. I have a Van and an SUV for 3 of us. I am a big advocate of VAN here because lot of times you will have to move stuff and its cost money to get stuff delivered. I know van is not cool or fancy but it gives you so much room. I have always bought preowned (2 or 3 year old) vehicle and you save lot of money. But sometimes if you get 0% financing on new then its good to buy new because you get all the warranty. But Sedan is big no for me. Hope this helps. Please share.

Also about make, big no to north american, big yes to Japanese and Korean (Toyota, honda, nissan, mazda, kia, hyundai) i would prefer korean. Because of better warranty and cheaper than japanese. But people say Japanese have better resale value, but you know you will pay more to buy Japanese and then get more when you sell. My theory is you pay less to buy new korean car with better warranty.

Saskatoon is bigger than Regina, Saskatoon has more jobs overall. But all the Govt offices are in Regina. I will let you decide my friend. You can visit saskjobs.ca and see which city has more jobs related to your area of interest and then decide. Cost of living is same in both the cities. Thanks for watching. Hi, I need an opinion or guidance from you, I got admission to few Toronto colleges and also in Saskatchewan polytechnic .. My wife is Mtech in computer science and an IT professional, we have two daughters, so what should be our choice .. Toronto or Saskatchewan. Though I am very much interested in Calgary and waiting for response from Univ and Colleges .
@gulatifamilyincanada318
@gulatifamilyincanada318 3 жыл бұрын
As an IT professional it will be easy for your wife to get job in ON or BC. But cost of living is too high in both these provinces. SK on the other hand has fewer IT jobs but you can lead an affordable life, real estate market here is not crazy as in other provinces. I personally like small cities, but that is just me. You can decide based on where would your preference. Thanks

@gulatifamilyincanada318
@gulatifamilyincanada318 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Vandana, You can definitely survive with one person working, because you get Canada child tax benefit for each child, its based on your family income, lets say you get $300 for each child, you will get $600 a month and then your husband can work, assuming he is making $12 per hour, he would be making atleast $1800. So your family income can be $2400 and you can easily survive in this amount. However if you both choose to work then you can live a luxurious life. Hope I answered your question. Please share our videos and subscribe. Thanks for your support

Hello Harpreet, Thank you so much for watching our video. The timings of any programs in University are decided prior to the session and with Covid around right now, I have no idea how things will unfold in terms of students in each class so its really hard to predict the timings. Once you enrol in the program you will get the schedule. It would be good for you to come around May-June so you have enough time to settle and get your son in school for the session starting in September. Hope i answered your question. Please share our videos, thank you for your support.
