It is 3 years experience in Business Analysis, not analytics. It can be any role where you worked on tasks related to the tasks in the BABOK. Additionally, due to the pandemic, you can take the exam from home or anywhere. It is now a proctored online exam.

No. It is not. You can go for the level that u feel qualified for. If u can manage it, the CBAP is the most marketable on a CV.

Not sure about the Masters degree. It depends if it covered similar topics as the BABOK. With regards to experience, you need to have 5 years BA experience.

No. The experience does not need to be from one company. For each credential, you need a certain minimum total experience. So , you can add experience from many companies over the last 10 years.

Yes. I think you will qualify. You just need to show relevant BA experience to meet the application criteria. You can find qualification criteria in the video itself. I am not sure of your question though...what exactly did u mean in your question?

The BABOK standard is divided into 6 knowledge areas, each covering a specific area of knowledge for the BA. Here they are: Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring, Elicitation & Collaboration, Requirements Lifecycle Management, Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis & Design Definition, Solution Evaluation.

You would probably have a better chance with the CBAP certification as it is more recognizable than ECBA. How many years of experience related to business analysis do you have?

They don't ask for a CV. On the CBAP application, they ask for 2 references.

You have to take a class with an institute or online

You can take the exam from anywhere, I think. You really don't need all the certifications....You just need the right one for you. In the market today, CBAP is most valuable from IIBA. After you certify, you will need to renew your certification every 3 years, but not with an exam. You just need to show that you have accumulated 60 hours of development in Business Analysis over the 3 years.

Thank you for the video, which is clear and helpful. I have 2 questions: 1) I had 3 years of work experience in consulting firms, as a consultant assistant or a senior consultant. Does it count? How can I prove it? Just indicate it in my resume? 2) 2 reference letters are required for CBAP - who can be the referees? IIBA evaluates your experience for business analysis tasks, so it really depends on what work you did as a consultant. As for references, it can be anyone who can vouch for you being a business analysts. As for language, there are translators built into browsers that should help. Hope this helps answer your questions.

Hi Rohan...it depends on what you did when you worked as a product specialist. You somehow need to show that you have at least 3750 hours of experience as a BA. If you can describe your product specialist tasks with a perspective that demonstrates BABOK type experience, you might be fine. You also need to show that you have covered 21 hours of education in BABOK-related topics. Hope this helps.

Hi Abdulaziz...The CCBA requires 3750 hours of experience, which is about 2-3 years BA experience. From what you described, I think your best option would be the ECBA which only requires 21 hours of related training and no BA experience. Hope this helps.

How can the applicant provide that has study the Babok in order to validate and be eligible for ECBA exam?

Hi Arodri, there isn't a way to prove that you've read the BABOK so if an individual claims that they have read the BABOK, we'll accept it.

I highly doubt this is legal or legit. I dunno of such services. If u are certified, you need to back the certificate with best practice knowledge. To employers, a certificate without proper pm knowledge or experience is not worth much. Better to attempt studying and taking the exam. It will be more satisfying for you.
