Haha last time I played the only way to reach 20 in Pre was to die over and over and over again to the Charr in order to level THEM up so you can get a few Exp out of them...

I got the title that way about two weeks before they brought in the daily quests... gawd that felt terrible how they devalued a nearly year long (because of me randomly disconnecting some nights) quest.

level 16 is the longest. you should do all quests at 16, not 17. once you've done all quests at 16 its back to farmer hamnet.

Get the daily quest with grawls and repet it without killing the boss only mobs around It still the best for me!

I still enjoy doing this. Although its important to me that my defenders are also survivors. Cant tell you how many times I deleted a char because I foolishly died and started over again. But with practice it becomes easy and now I have 3 Ldoa with 0 deaths

you can also repeat the elementalist quest until lvl 4 at least. wait until they all ball up, and then firestorm them. in addition, the bandit group outside ashford gives more exp up until level 7.

The bandits are lvl 11 at the end and you say that we should kill them until level 20? Will they level up after giving the quests for lvl 17?

You kill them until level 14. After that you should kill the quests mobs.

You should have mentioned that dailies should actually be done every day as soon as you hit level 10. For some reason I thought your guide meant I should wait until 14. but that's just because your guide is for "12 hour title" and implies it'll be done within a single daily time window. I've missed out on a lot of xp because of that, since I only play about an hour each day... also, 12hr might work for people who have experience, but there's no way a fresh player will get it in that time frame. I consider myself a fair player and I'm at 10hrs at level 13.

Mhh, I get your point, but this video is how to get it in 12 hours. And if you get the daily quest I showed you never finish the daily quest. Finishing this daily quest just takes your ability away to kill high level mobs in fast manner.

Go for the legendary survior. Could be boring, but for the ultimative flex i think it is worth it.

you can still get legendary survivor. You just have to survive past the level of experience at which you died, and go from there. Suggest waiting until after you go to post searing, then nightfall for heroes. Tons of builds for them on pvx wiki. This comment is a year late, so you probably figured that out by now

It is possible, but really hard. If you arent able to do it. Just level up till 10.

This game did not age well. I was very surprised..... I played it for the first time, Guild Wars 2 is a 1000% improvement in every regard. This game seems very very... BARE bones. Lack luster unimaginative, I could go on endlessly. Games such as Diablo2, StarCraft, Elder Scrolls, alot of older games have aged beautifully, I wish I could have said the same about guild wars 1.

Well that must be personal because lots of players still love GW1. I am one of them, recently got back to it - comparing GW1 to GW2 is like comparing Serious Sam to Ghost Recon, two completely different games. I love the story, the missions, skills, professions, armors, playstyle - this is my fav game of all time :)

It did not age well is a concise explanation, the only well to see how a game has aged is by playing it and comparing it to modern games. I've talked with endless amounts of people, this game is laughable compared to Guild Wars 2. To say this game is limited, is an understatement. You have fanboyitis, defend it if you will, it still wont fix the endless amount of failures this game exhibits.
