I’ve been to Costa Rica as well! Both are great options. I would say Panama as it was easier to travel from the beach to the mountains and I felt that the beaches in Panama were more magical.

Hi there! You would need to leave for a minimum of 30 days. I am not sure if your time will start over, but there is a limit in how many times you can return. You are only allowed three entries. Hope this helps ☺️

My question is, do you know a small beach town where you are able to walk to the beach and store's from the an apartment? I'm willing to take Uber to store's etc., but very near the beach. Yes! I can’t speak for all areas, but the places we went to were pretty safe. You don’t need a car in Panama City as there’s a lot of traffic. Ubers are good for that spot.

I went in February. Ah yes rainy season is around that time. But don’t worry too much, it rarely rains all day in Panama. So if it does rain it’ll probably be just for a few hours. Hope you enjoy your trip!
