Nice one, Lee. I'm sure everyone is grateful for these tutorial videos👍 I tried cattle farming in FS22 and found it to be insanely expensive to set up, with very little return for your money so I kind of gave it up as a bad idea. I think anyone with a small holding should consider chickens because it's relatively chirpy-chirpy-cheep-cheep to fully populate 3-4 coops and if you plant a field of wheat they're 100% self-sustaining. Not forgetting that eggs can be quite valuable when sold at the right time. Maybe wait 'til the 'auto-load pallets' mod becomes available though because we all know about the joys of fork truck operation😋

Could have used this when I first started FS22. I gave up in the end and bought one of those huge barns with the mixer attached. At the end I thought you were going to say "straw, 10ml vanilla extract and a pinch of salt..."

Quick tip, mineral feed has no benefit unless you are using the feeding robot so save your money. Try to have silage as close to the bottom as possible, and stack up on hay and straw. Silage is expensive

I think I remember somebody telling me about that in the past , but it does have mineral in the list for the mixer ?

@CGDGAMES it does, but it has been tested in both 22 and 25, no effect whatsoever. It's more for realism. It is required for the robot, that won't work without it. But in terms of how much they eat and productivity, mineral fees has no effect
