I decided to sign-up with for Johnny's courses after watching several other youtube teachers. He was also recommended by a jazz piano player I know. I enjoyed the mix of techniques and theory that builds on the lessons. I'm a beginning student and enjoy the pace of the courses.

So great! And very well explained, as always. In general, I find it easier to remember all the 4 notes of a chord than just the 2 of them, it's weird :). The stationary approach of the last step seems quite difficult to remember while playing. And the jumps in the left hand are still really difficult for me after 2 years of playing piano :S If I'm looking at the right hand, I cannot look to the left one :D

Are guide chords considered the same as a 7th omit 5 chord? Also does this technique work as well when playing in a relative minor key? Thanks.
