As someone with a speech impediment I can see the effort he's putting forth to force the words out and speak fluently.

It's hard to believe this was Michael Zaslow's final episode as Roger Thorpe. What a remarkable actor he was. RIP Michael Zaslow (1942-1998)

@@northcote7760 Procter and Gamble, the show's sponsor, fired Michael after his speech impediment, the first signs of disease ALS, became noticeable on screen. Michael had wanted to integrate his condition on screen, but P&G refused, saying in an interview they didn't need a "wizened old man" playing Roger since "that was what he'd have to play in his condition."

@@shawnvilla9912 Long story short, if that scenario had happened today, Michael Zaslow would have owned Procter and told them what they could do with their Gamble. What a disgusting thing for them to say to him! How classless

Missed opportunity with expanding Roger Thorpe story. They should have written this condition on the storyline.

It’s only an addiction if it’s one sided, crazy Annie... or, as it’s more commonly known, an obsession.

Yes,and used them, lied to them, didn't care about them when she tried to frame their mama for murder! And if she hadn't of ran around acting crazy all the time, and thought about the child she was carrying and took care of herself, she might not of lost that baby in the first place.

I wish someone would post the reconciliation between Blake and Ross after he left the bauer cabin after Matt showed up exposing Amanda and also the one from mid July 1997 where Blake was mugged and Ross finally forgave her. Ross refused to ever really tell Blake that he treated her really badly on the Amanda front. I don’t know if he ever really did address it with her. He just kept harping on the bad decisions she made after he betrayed her that night. That drove me crazy.

This is the only scene I can find of the kiss with Amanda either. Ross definitely made the first move. It’s a real shame that he harped so much on Blake and refused to acknowledge his own shortcomings. I’d also love to see the scene where Blake was mugged. I feel like I’m missing a piece of the puzzle of the reconciliation.

@@stardazed888 I also felt badly for her when she tried to explain and left the hospital to plead with him. She even mentioned how vile Amanda called her names behind his back by calling her unattractive (and she is so pretty) and he never said a word to Amanda afterwards to point out how cruel she was to his wife all that time. It was just a lame comment to Amanda that he finally realized he contributed to the situation by kissing her but I still never heard him admit that to Blake nor call out Amanda that she was a true snake. It made me sick to see him laughing with her and going to lunch with her after the horrible way she messed with his marriage. That was out of character for him. He did the same with crazy Tori years later and never took out his anger on her for stalking and kidnapping her. Actually he gave Dinah an easy time too. He held all his anger for Blake.
