In this video, I show you how to make a little 3D scene in a tin mainly using the beautiful Guiding Light die set by Dawn Woleslagle for Spellbinders. I ended up using some others too.

Love when you do a mixed media project. That bit of drift wood really made a great base for the tin. I see someone below mentioned the pronunciation of buoy, but in comparing the size of the buoy to the larger seagull it looks more like a lobster float from Maine. They are about a foot tall with a 4 inch diameter and then painted in different colors for each lobster mans boat. Well that's enough trivia for today! As always thanks for including the pics of the light houses. We have quite a few around the Great Lakes but I always love to see new ones..

Ah... I did update somewhere but just for you, here it is!! I actually found the snake on the night when I came home from the sailing trip on Belfast Lough (pics at the end of the Set Sail video) when I went to lock the garage before going to bed. I'm sure you remember that it got into my craft store in the garage and, although we pulled the place apart, there was no more sign of it for months! Four and a half months later , one Sunday in January when my neighbours returned from church, they saw it crawl into their driveway!! It was much worse for the wear after being neglected for so long and in much need of heat (it was winter in N Ireland) My neighbour covered it with a towel and got it into a bucket. Then I brought it into our kitchen, secured it and kept it beside a radiator until a lady from an animal rescue centre arrived and took it away! It had been in our garage the whole time and I was so glad to see it gone!!

@@ruthhamilton8025, I'm amazed you brought it inside, but what a kind gesture. I'm sure it was nursed back to health by the animal rescue people and released somewhere that garages are scarce! And it's a plus you got your craft supplies back, too.
