It is Jackie fault Justin did not know about Phillip she told him she aboted him. Then a doctor convinced her to put Phillip up for adoption. Then Alan hid the fact that Elizabeth and their was stillborn and he adopted Phillip with her thinking that was the baby she gave birth too. Though Alan is not lying he tried to get custody of Phillip after Elizabeth married Justin even though he had no idea Justin was his dad yet.

Always wished they had brought the character Elizabeth back even if a recast. The way her and Jackie agonized over Phillip and then killed one off and the other disappears and no mom anymore. No wonder Phillip had control issues lol
