OMG, Alan, count this one as a brilliant success! The love, the energy, the vibe that flowed between all that participated was genuine. It was truly like watching a real family reuniting (how great was it to see Robert Newman's face when Ashley Peldon clicked on - he was overcome with emotion). All the Marahs look and act like they could be sisters, all complementing one another with their similarities and their differences, covering the entire spectrum of unique personalities found in a family (the talented, the creative, the intellectual, the spiritual, etc). A joy to watch. And wonderful to see Ashley all grown up and happy with her life - it all started with you, Ashley. Thanks to all the Marahs and their Mom and Dad for making this happen. Oh, and of course, you too, Alan.

Too bad you forgot to ask them (especially Kim) about Reva's firstborn son who was both Josh's nephew and stepson, Dylan and his portrayer, Morgan Englund. I loved seeing their reactions to each Marah appearing, especially when Josh saw Ashley. So sweet! Marah was definitely a daddy's girl and they always had a strong bond. Like you and Robert said, Marah was much more fleshed out (regardless of who played her) in comparison to Shayne.

Stumbled upon this today, and what a joy! My grandmother listened to GL on radio in the 50s and brought it into my life in the 80s. I got in trouble in 4th grade for using the name Morgan in a story. The teacher argued it was a boys name. When I told her my inspiration came from a daytime soap, she said I should not be watching it at my age (Catholic school teacher). LOL It was a time i treasure though, spending that hour every day in the summer with my grandmother. I was devastated when they announced it was going off the air. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kim and Robert at one of the luncheons in NY when I was in high school (maybe 1986 or 1987). Later in 200, I think, I attended another one and gave Kim a picture of her daughter I had taken at the earlier event. She got tears in her eyes. They were so nice! Have been enjoying watching her son, Jake, on Animal Kingdom. Thank you so much for posting this. 😍🤩😍🤩

Beth Ehlers had the best chemistry with little Ashley Peldon. It was fascinating and so beautiful to watch. Harley/Marah scenes went from brattiness behavior to full of love and cuteness. Their last scene together was a real tear-jerker for me. Really the most underrated pivotal moment in both Harley and Marah's history. So happy we got to see Ashley all grown up. She's beautiful.

I loved "Guiding Light" and "As the World Turns". My departed Mom turned me on to this one CBS lineup of Soaps. I cried, cried when they were both not renewed. How could they hurt us like that? I pray they are all on to better blessings. I really felt these shows in heartfelt, relatable ways. I am going to be "60" in three weeks, May, 15. 2021. It's funny how we mark time by the anniversary dates of shows we loved to love. Thanks guys for the happy memories of sharing one on one/ bonding time. Woman to woman time with my Mom. And as I get older, I look just like her and I cry grateful happy tears. We felt the same emotions that got us I engrossed and took us together, along the character's arch. Well done everyone. Oh my goodness. I’ve just started watching reruns of guiding light. I love, love, love Josh and Reva. Such a chemistry. Such fun and believable passion for each other. I didn’t get to watch last seasons before they went off the hour due to my hospital work schedule. In these reruns it looks like Josh and Reva didn’t end up together…Noooooo…please come back as older couple and be Josh and Reva and have a series or something. Best soap opera of all time. I honestly thought Josh and Reva got married in real life. Lol I’ve watched when I was young and I’m older than Josh and Reva. Reva you just have a magnetic personality and Josh is perfect for you. Oh also Robert Newman saw you on young and Restless… I had lost interest till I saw you on there. Wish you and Kim could get on Bold and beautiful or young and restless or something…So natural together. Love you so much.

Do u remember when u came to Sullivan Illinois to act at the little theater.anyway I worked at Kroger's grocery store at Mt zion.il.anyway u had came into the grocery store right before I got to work.i came in and I e of my co workers said Margie you just missed him.i said missed who.she goes Josh Lewis off the guiding light.i said oh my God where is he...u had just left the store ...probably as I was just driving up. I will never forget this. Robert Newman got finer as he got older especially during the late 90s, early 2000s, liked him with Harley but kind of knew it was doomed when Kim returned and it was so nice to see the 4 young ladies who played their daughter Maura although I don't remember the last one..

Enjoyed this. Wish there was somewhere we could watch all the episodes. I remember being in 7th grade and starting to watch it in Dec of ‘87 which was right at the time the Sonni/Solita story started. I missed so much of the backstory on that. Would love to go back and see how that started as it was my favorite GL story. Really enjoyed how well Ashley Peldon presented herself - very reserved and pleasant demeanor.
