So nice to see characters who don't have story together, like Eve and Bert, have small talk. Never happen on soaps now. The Bauer kitchen was remodeled later on wasn't it?

Yes but JWS was a good actor on GL and won two emmys on two different soaps: ATWT AND Santa Barbara.

This started on some of the other, more "modern" soaps, like Y&R, but it must have been a shock to the more conservative viewers of GL, ATWT, SFT, etc. when they started seeing luscious men like John Wesley Shipp and Michael Corbett wearing only their underwear.
