They should really have more elevators available and more places where steps are not required, but it’s always nice to see the kindness of strangers and people working together.

you really are the most sweetest, supportive husband Olly. It was great too that so many random people offered to help too

I was on the Muni in San Francisco, CA, USA years ago (subway) when 2 blind men got on with canes in hand. They were standing up next to the door holding one. I was in the seat next to the door, so I offered them my seats (had a huge bag, so no one was sitting down.) They said, "No thank you, we prefer to stand." We rode some stops when one turned to the other and said, "Have you been counting?" The other answered, "No, I was hoping you were." They turned to me and asked if I was still there and if I could tell them what stop were at. Their intuition was fantastic because they asked me at the stop before their stop. My stop was the end of the line so I didn't have to really pay too much attention to stops. It was such a cool encounter because I learned so much that day about ability. Now that said, I would still always offer my seats, because I don't know what someone is most comfortable with. I would have many people offer me seats because of my huge bag of tools that I carried with me daily with rulers sticking out the top. Honestly, sitting down always made me feel safer because I was less likely to hit or poke someone with my design bag.

Man, Muni back 30 years ago was so much more accessible than your Tube! I don't know how you would navigate that by yourself when you have to put your phone in front of an invisible place. We just got on and flashed our monthly passes somehow rather easily. I don't remember exactly but it was easy. I think we flashed it to a human as we entered, then just went off when we needed to. There were elevators at every station too. The trains would pop out of the tunnels by the time I got to my stop, I just walked two blocks home.

I love you two. You are such a great couple. You remind me of me and my husband. I started dating him when I was 14 and he was 15 we were each other's firsts for everything first boy friend first date and first kiss and one more first but you get it. We got married when I was 20 and he turned 21 on the honeymoon. We will be celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary in April.

Correction Euston is one of 2 main stations to the North the other being Kings Cross Euston serves the west coast with territories including Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Birmingham, Warrington and Carlisle Whilst Kings Cross serves the East Coast with territories including York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Doncaster, Durham and Darlington Technically 3 as well when bringing St Pancras into the mix but they’re main destinations (Derby, Nottingham etc) are more midlands than north Sorry that’s just me being a pedantic rail enthusiast 😂
