No cuz we don’t want a new young pivot as we only need a stop gap until Marc Bernal is ready to take over who’s the one the club counts on long term so I’d say Kimmich would probably be the best one.

Barca fan , i used to think kimmich was the best option but lowkey he plays more like a cm or lb. Guido Rodríguez and Amadou Onana on the other hand seem like the 2 best options. We get guido for free, and Onana should be our starting CDM. The only thing is we would sacrifice a little bit of passing ability that a guy like Zubimendi can provide, but Onana's speed, strength, and defensive qualities is something this barca team needs. I think with pedri and gavi and dejong you get enough technical ability in the midfield but we've been lacking that "destroyer" type player for quite a while now, different role than busquets but an opportunity to see how this type or player fits in our system

1. Guido is 30, free agent and comes as a super sub ✅ 2. Kimmich is better when playing alongside defensive pivot. He’s 29 and going to cost about 50mil. He’s a fine player but not the required profile Barca wants. Offers nothing significant from what Frenkie offers 3. Zubi is the ideal if Barca wants to go by the so called Barca DNA kinda thing. Gives you defensive solidity as well as control and positional play. But Barca cannot negotiate. Barca can only pay full release clause of 60m cash down. 4. Onana tackles better, has the legs and so runs better. He is Aerially better than all the other candidates. Has stamina and physically stronger than the others. Most importantly, Barca can negotiate his fees and probably pay in installments. ✅

Wow I actually just wrote a similar comment. This is exactly what I was saying. Zubi to me is the perfect CDM for Barca but not worth it for the amount of mid they already have and what they need of him. Onana is good to shape him to be the future CDM. Rn they want a super sub. Someone who can sub FDJ and then switch up play with Gundo, Pedri and Gavi

Zubimendi is the best of the bunch for Barça and Onana is young and we have a talent from La Masía that will become our main pivot in a few years we need a stop gap signing so Kimmich would be prefect I think. Also Zubimendi could work as well.

Zubimendi is the best right here. Kimmich is good but I feel a tad overrated, thing is that with Kimmich and Zubi the price tag comes with being a starter. You don’t pay 50M+ and have them sit. You can’t sit FDJ making that money either he’s been central part in the club for years. Has an average season and ppl are killing him. What we need is someone like guidi who can breakup attack and let his teammates lead. Problem is with Gavi coming back and Pedri as well we have a bunch of Mid. Tbh Gavi is a ball winner but he’s more versatile and can be used elsewhere and then we have Pedri. Too many options. I love Raphina who has been incredible and I don’t wanna penalize him by sitting him but then Lamine is cooking on the left side creating chances.

I think the best choice is kimmich because his personality because our players didn't have this mentality and xavi wants the CDM like busquets and busquets was not good at defence but he was good at moving the ball from the defence to the centre without any problem also his pass , Zubimudi and onana like any CDM doesn't make anything special he gets the ball from the opponent only i think christisin better than zubi and onana in this job
