All professions can use ranged and melee weapons. Just because a Warrior can use a bow/gun, doesn't mean it could use it better than a Ranger.

Not pet, minions. And they have multiple types of minions like bone minions, blood fiend, flesh golem, etc.

OMG why I didn't watch this video before. I always tray to start the game (the role part is important to me) and get stuck because I'm not sure with the class and race story. Now I watch this video I have a better idea. Thanks!

im still sad that they replaced the ritualist and dervish classes with an engineer class...I mean maybe the dervish makes sense but it was still a cool freaking class. The Ritualist being cut is a travesty i mean imagine how cool the abilities of a ritualist would have looked in this game?

I took a Mesmer because I thought the power of illusion was cool. But I regretted it because the character had a sword and I don't like close range fighting (I thought it was like all other MMOs where your character class is limited to a certain type of weapon) and so I switched to a mage. Now I want to go back, but then I can't raid with my friends who are close to the level my mage is.

These trailers are always such a lie. They are showing mages casting the same spells back to back, but in the game there are 30 and 40 second cooldowns. This video is a lie.

+Perry all are great andhave advantages and disadvantages the thing you have to remember is use of weponstyle and where you wnat o be on the attlefield and timing weapons and skills are not infulential lie other gmaes gw2 allows you to be a the hardest foes without weapons or armor si it is a matter of where you wan to take a hit and where not

They are only demonstrating the flashiest or the most interesting of the skills, but that isn't all they can do. There is more to them. And these videos kinda exaggerate the effectiveness of each ability. Its really cinematic for our entertainment.
