Guild Wars 2 - Commander Tag? Get or Not to Get? That is the Question!

I use mine all the time and has helped quite a bit with old dead maps, like the living world 3 maps for farming for Aurora. I just came back to the game after 6 year hiatus and really helps with champion kills.

ooh yeah! farming for those trinkets.. my goodness I used mine like crazy. It's been a while since i did legendary trinkets but i do remember it being a hassle and needing the tag up a few times

@@WirelessSushi Yes, exactly. Still at it and will continue to use it. Best investment ever in the game. I found that mentor tag wasn't taken serious or as serious as the comm tag, as well.

I have used my tag like twice in three years, but is not bad to have it if you need it. Maybe a bit too expensive for some but not terrible bad.

Yeah for sure. I just think about it as a convenience item. It helps get players coming to you when you need some help without trouble.

Late to the party lol. It's stealth ability that's unlocked through IBS mastery tree called "United Legions Waystation Mastery", it's at the 5th step of the mastery. 6th gives an upgraded version.

SUB-SCRIBE-TWO THIS MAN! Commander tag can also pay itself off, I used to run hero point trains after I got my tag, and I would make anywhere from 10g to 200g for per hp train depending on how many where in the squad and if they were nice people who donated. Now if I run then I dont ask for donos and return the money to sender.

I have the same regret... in fact at that time it was common for people to accidentally send mail to the wrong person and someone had sent me $100 to get a commander tag (it had to be for someone else) and I sent it back... oh well.

If you got guild or friends that you're showing them the ways: Where to meet or stand or wait etc...Commander tag would allow you to drop Markers 8 different kinds of Markers. You can Marker certain designated player for the squad to follow for certain tasks. ETC.. It's good for organizing a large group or event as well. 👀
