Honestly, I think that most of the Sylvari that attacked the pact fleet were from the 2nd Pale Tree by Magnus Falls. Those who were still under the Pale Tree's influence are still protected with only the soundless and the Nightmare Court going to Mordremoth.

I totally agree with you, it will continue the game narrative, about the nightmare court and their decent to madness. i wonder if Anet will add racism to some of the game area. if it is an expansion can it be that we will have the ability to use spears.

woolkiller4you Just like Glint's situation with Kralkatorrik , the Pale Tree also broke free from Mordrem. "I'm guessing" here, Mordrem awakening and finding out his General is no longer in his control so he tried to dispose of the Pale Tree, ain't it lucky we were there huh. :)

Man, I finally bought LWS2 after playing through HoT and the following story and this was super gratifying to play through after having fallen in love with all the characters posthumously. I really want to replay the prologue with all the context I can get at my disposal, man oh man. The hype is real.

Cure4Living That and there is a trailer, they didn't stick the living world logo on it, there was a share advice article put out (I didn't put much stock in this initially but it does seem more likely now) the two biggest faces of arenanet are traveling to pax south after renting the main hall for one an a half hours and they have made a big deal about the announcement. It is incredibly likely that it is an expac or expac proxy at the very least, I do not believe for one second that anyone at arenanet would spend this much money and effort hyping season 3 of the living world -laughs-

I read some time ago that Anet hired a raid designer or something like that. So I wonder, are raids coming to gw2 in the expansion?

honestly, a rework of the dungeons that currently exist (complete with new orange ground tells), instanced guild based mega boss raids (harder but with better loot) and a system that rewards players for doing difficult content is what is needed. The RNG grind in this game is obscene, and sadly if a player doesn't want to grind they cannot make builds effectively either as builds are tied heavily to gear. (keep in mind these are complaints from a person with 8 level 80's fully kitted out in 1-3 sets of gear each AND who likes aesthetic improvements) :P But seriously, if it had a better drop rate instanced tequatil and tripple trouble could have been great, especially knowing that the boss would be intentionally spawned for the specific guild it would mean they could ramp the difficulty too, even have tiers of difficulty.

lostsanityreturned the game is too casual as it is right now, difficult content is usually not rewarding enough while dungeons, which were supposedly really hard before launch, gives players loads of money. I'm a pvper because I can't seem to enjoy the difficulty rewarding. yes I want gameplay for when I just casually want to sit back and eat some ice cream or whatever, but I don't want all content to be like that, that's what world exploration is for. but I have noticed improvements in this during season 2, the prime example is the luminescent set. it takes quite a while to get everything, although it didn't get me into pve and farming sw, it did impress me. I also actually went down in my full zerker armor during this patches living story, normally I dont even look at my heal skill cause I dont need it. tbh I don't really have problems with the rng thing, but that's probably because I hardly pve. and indeed, hard content must be hard and rewarding, and it is really hard to achieve this in open world. the wurm was the only really difficult thing which I really enjoyed (I dced during the first kill Q.Q) but they nerfed it. I think that truly hard content should be in an instance since it's easier to organise, people that actually know what they are doing will team up with each other, guilds would be made just for this content and new communities would grow.

I was all excited for the new part of the living story, went in all gung-ho, got all nostalgic over the crystal desert part, was too lazy to pay attention to the last fight because I was in still drooling over the surroundings, spend a few minutes cursing before finally figuring out the mechanics (have to say I liked it), finally finished was about to make a screenshot, then this movie pops up... and sylvari are... bad?... aaand the fleet has lauched... aaand... wait till the 24th for more... YOU CAN NOT DO THIS TO ME~!!! YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT LEAVE ME HANGING HERE~! Gah, for the sake of the content, alright, but but but... *starts twitching again*
