Hey folks! Kicking off the new year with a 2021 Account Tour! Have an awesome 2021, let's get it!! Also, I didn't realize this until after recording, but I had my noise gate too high/my mic not close enough to my mouth, so some of my sentences get cut off, I'm sorry if this makes it hard to understand some of the things I say!

I have not seen this yeet outfit before. My goodness, what a look! You've had a big year. Lots of progress on the alt account, and of course irl! Looking forward to seeing you streaming again when you have your time sorted, and progressing into raids in the alt, too.

Hey man congrats on the big news, wish you a wonderful year and a happy married life. Why not go for full legendary gear (weapons, armor and trinkets) on main account that would be a nice goal 😍😍😍. I'm a late bloomer to raids just started few months ago as I felt I got everything I want from fractals so I tried a new thing which raids (always felt scared to try it) but now all of sudden I got my legendary armor done and more than half way done to crafting coalescence. In parralel I'm also almost done with vision and aurora.. This whole progress took about 3 months give or take I think

Hey thank you, I’m really looking forward to this year! I haven’t gotten legendary armor through Raids but I’ve gotten a couple sets through PvP, I’m missing trinkets but I have a few weapons and 2 of the back pieces. The trinkets I’m not overly concerned about at the moment since I have an abundance of living world season materials and share trinkets between all my characters when I have no use for them on another. Eventually once the armory finally comes out I’ll be more incentivized to get more legendary equipment but at the moment I think I’m doing okay there. I’d have more use for that stuff on my alt account anyways since it has no legendary equipment so I’d rather do it there first. Congrats on those legendary feats though! I wish you the best of luck with the PvP trinkets!

You can delete the events invitation items to free some space on your bank as you'll receive "Invitation to the Party" once you participated to all events in the year (one single item to teleport you to the current event).

i was a pretty good boy this year. I barely touched my mats and gold - was not interested in doing Saga map meta achievments, getting all the weapon collections etc. I stopped stressing about getting fractals dailies, pvp dailies, pvp leagues etc done everyday. Rather than doing lots of little things to be efficient, i went fully into one thing. Istarted raiding october last year. Made my first armor in january, and recent finished the third armour set. So i say... i didnt spend much gold, i made 3 armor sets. Im slowly chipping away at the pvp amulet.... Raid ring.. struggling for dhuum but i hope i get there. This "Armory" has been a bit of a drive.

That was a good decision for sure! That’s what I ended up doing with Fractals as well, making sure I just devoted all my time to that specific content to learn it, which then indirectly benefits all other forms of content at least a little bit because you understand the combat system/the class you’re playing a little bit more. Keep up with that for sure, congrats on the achievements this year!

Not a quetion about your account but i always wondered and since you play on both NA and EU in fractals you if anyone should know. Why is NA lfg-tool so empty compared to EU: EU seem to have like 80-90% more pug groups all the time over the day and night. Why is that?

I can only guess, but my observation is that EU is more strict on party requirements, if you don’t meet the requirements you’re kicked. In NA if I make a listing for say 50+ old ess and someone has 10, then chances are I’ll let them run with us anyways because I just want to get started, I don’t really care so much about how smooth the run is. This is my personal opinion though, this isn’t to say that there aren’t any strict requirement groups in NA, or that there’s no loose requirements groups in EU, but the average time for a group to fill in EU has typically been like 20-30 minutes in my experience, whereas in NA 5 minutes is pretty standard, while 20-30 minutes is pretty rare. Easier requirements = faster fills = less LFG listings. There’s also the idea that people are nervous to make their own groups, which is very true but I can’t really gauge how many people make up that group, I just know that it’s definitely a factor. This makes it so people instantly join LFG listings when they pop up instead of making their own. This isn’t to say one system is better than the other, I think it’s just a game-culture thing. The downsides to NA is that with such loose requirements, your groups will vary much more and be less consistent, but the pros is faster grouping times. In EU the con is longer wait times, but ideally the pro is higher quality runs on average. Once again, this is just my view/opinion based on my experiences.

@@Rheyo Yeah i also tend to think that more people in EU throw up groups on lfg-tool. I don't pug in NA that often but it happens and when i add my group it takes a min until it is full so there seem to be people waiting around. I don't know how to change it so people not being scared of adding their group. I tried to come up with ideas but can't really think of any then just keep on telling them to just add the group instead of waiting.

It brings tons of cc, which is important now that most consumables are disabled in fractals, has good mobility, decent burst and also has a ton if skills that can be used at range while chasing the boss around. Obviously firebrand will be better, but it's definitely not bad. This require some practice though as you wanna adapt your rotation so that your damaging fields line up with the boss is standing still and use your ranged cooldowns when the boss moves.

@@Benjen97 no front but i think you are more of a new amateur player, in good groups alac and bs carry all the cc easily, pDH and slb also bring naturally some in their rotation. Range abitility to roam around the boss is absolutely useless, as all bosses get phased in 3 seconds or so with pslb and pdh, you never have the chance to even range. If you want to force any condi class in cms its still the condi firebrand. More burst then power chrono(op lol) more sustain then c rene, so its alternateless. Tbh most 200kp+ groups will probaly ask you to switch or kick you, as you wont make any dps in the 3 second window it takes for slbs to burst through the phases
