I am curious as to how you feel this stacks up against Firebrand? Just as effective, less, more? Easier or harder to play?

For me, which could be some form of bias, but I feel it stacks up just as good as Firebrand, if not better for utility. Firebrand can still bring the unique strengths of increasing ally healing with tome 2-5 and a toughness boost in tome 2-3 but Chronomancer has a load of extra utility that a Firebrand doesn't, meaning everyone else in your team can go more offensive to squeeze out damage. I'd say its around about the same in difficulty to learn as there is so much you can do on Chronomancer, especially with Continuum Split so you have loads to learn. I'm still learning every day with it too and I've been running it almost every day in fractals since the 28th of November. What I can say is, its the first real contender Firebrand has had in a very long time. It can do some more advanced strategies too such as Blurred Inscriptions/Signet of Inspiration and extend boons, letting your alacrity dps go very greedy. I've been practicing this with a friend and it works like a charm!
